IFC Residence

The room offers a great view of the 'Three-piece Set' (referring to the three iconic buildings in Shanghai's Lujiazui skyline, e.g., Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower), it's very clean, and the hotel staff provides excellent service overall. Definitely worth a stay.

Facilities: The hotel feels a bit old, and the dryer wasn't very effective. Even though it's a Miele, it didn't seem as good as some domestic brands. You can tell the apartment has been around for a while, but the location is unbeatable. The pool and gym are also excellent. The elevator goes directly to IFC and the subway, making it super convenient to get anywhere. All in all, even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari. Cons: The breakfast was genuinely mediocre. It's better to eat out or order delivery. The selection was limited, and the taste wasn't great. They really need to improve it. 178 isn't cheap, and honestly, the free breakfast I had at a bathhouse was better.

Service: As excellent as always. Facilities: I've been here countless times, and this time I even used the kitchen to make some instant noodles – perfect! Location: No need to even mention it, it's absolutely fantastic. Cleanliness: I stayed for two nights, and the cleaning staff did an incredibly thorough and quick job every time.

Overall, it was a great experience. The front desk staff were lovely, very gentle and friendly. The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were decent. The location is absolutely prime; you can walk directly to IFC for shopping, movies, and dining.

Overall, it's pretty good. If you're booking the 'Classic Studio,' definitely make a note to request a high floor. Otherwise, you won't get any outdoor views, and it'll feel quite stuffy looking out at darkness. However, the outdoor cafe on the third floor is excellent, offering great views of the Lujiazui nightscape.

The location is fantastic, very convenient for shopping and dining! However, there are still many details that need improvement, including the front desk service and the manager's follow-through on promises, which were quite disappointing. Everything else was pretty good though!

This hotel is great! The location is excellent, and the service is very attentive. A special shout-out to Alice Clark and Carlos at the front desk – thumbs up! I'll definitely be back, haha.
