An authentic and unique hotel, it feels like living in the jungle; it reminded me of a trip to Kwai.
A beautiful beach is 10 meters away; we asked for a bungalow closer to the sea and walked there barefoot. The beach is uncrowded, which is a plus, and the sand is white. There are few restaurants nearby, but I highly recommend Samovar, which is 500 meters down the road to the left. There's also a massage parlor, a shop, and a currency exchange office right across the street.
The room itself is very unique, with a rustic feel. It has its own terrace and everything except dental supplies (keep in mind, we checked ahead of time and brought our own). It does have mosquito repellent spray, which is a nice touch.
The sound is really loud, but we were lucky – our neighbors were only across the street, and even then, we rarely saw each other. It feels secluded, but we were lucky that the hotel wasn't crowded.
The breakfast is average, but it has everything you need: coffee, an omelet station, and fruit. The pool is small, so it's best to take a dip in the heat. The sun loungers are already tired. But with the sea like this, I didn't feel like going into the pool at all.
I saw chess and cards at the bar, a nice way to while away the evening.
The only downside is that there's absolutely no entertainment for traveling with children. I'd love to come back here with them.
The location reminded me of my vacation in Barakai: quiet and family-friendly.
