Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel has been very disappointing. Considering that this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, we expected a significantly higher standard of service, cleanliness and guest care. From the moment we arrived, there were already issues with the room. We found hairs on the bed, in the bed linen and on the bedside table, and the bathroom tap was constantly leaking. The rooms themselves are also very basic and, in my opinion, would benefit from being renovated. The biggest issue, however, was our experience at the pool. We had planned to spend a relaxing afternoon there, but instead we found ourselves in an extremely noisy environment. Around ten teenagers were being very loud, smoking inside the hot tub, playing very loud music from a speaker, and some of them were playing football on the grounds while shouting and making a considerable amount of noise. There were also dogs, apparently belonging to the hotel owners, which were continuously barking. It was not just us who were bothered by this. There was a clear sense of frustration among several guests because it was simply impossible to relax and enjoy the pool area. I personally went to reception to report the situation. I also explained that some of the teenagers had made inappropriate and unpleasant comments towards me. Unfortunately, I felt that the receptionist showed very little concern about what I was reporting. The only response I received was that the pool is a communal area and that there was “nothing they could do”, although they said they would pass the message on to management. I also asked whether I could contact management directly by email, but I was told that the message would simply be passed on. To be honest, after the way my complaint was handled, I have little confidence that this will actually happen. This is one of the reasons why I have decided to leave this review. If management would like to contact me directly, I am of course more than happy to discuss what happened. The breakfast was another disappointment. Breakfast is not cheap, yet we arrived at around 10:00am, with the service continuing until 11:00am, and many of the items had already run out. There were no croissants, very little fruit — literally four slices of melon — the scrambled eggs were finished and the hot chocolate machine was empty. We had to wait around half an hour just to get some plain croissants, and even then, much of the advertised selection was no longer available. Considering that there was still an entire hour left before breakfast finished, I would have expected the staff to be more attentive to guests and, at the very least, to offer alternatives or prepare something from the kitchen. Overall, what disappointed us most was the apparent lack of management and customer care. The staff often seemed more focused on doing their own thing than on looking after guests, and we experienced very little of the warmth, attentiveness or professionalism I would expec
