Yishan Jumeisu, Wuyuan, Wuling

Jiangxi is a wonderful place, and Wuyuan is especially so. The local service philosophy is very advanced. The hotel, converted from an old guesthouse, is also very unique. Especially when it's drizzling, swimming in the outdoor pool feels absolutely amazing. From the room, you can open the window and see the ancient alleyways. At night, leaving the window open and falling asleep to the sound of the autumn rain, it feels like traveling back to a simpler time without mobile phones. The guesthouse's service is also excellent. Especially the 'green channel,' which means no waiting in line for the cable car – a truly fantastic experience. Exploring the ancient town at night after other tourists have left the mountain is particularly atmospheric. It was a trip during the National Day holiday that delivered a truly exceptional experience.

Overall, a very satisfying trip with great scenery and fresh air. However, the soundproofing could use some improvement.

The room was great, with a beautiful view right from the balcony. It's very close to the popular drying workshops (Shai Gong Fang) and Wuguitang, making sightseeing very convenient, and the osmanthus trees downstairs smelled amazing. I caught the night view and took another stroll early in the morning when it was less crowded—a wonderful experience overall.

The hotel is located on Huangling Mountain, offering panoramic views of the mountains and the 'sun-drying autumn' spectacle. Outside the window, there's a persimmon tree. My room was on the third floor, sharing a children's play area on the first floor with the second floor. The bathroom was spacious with a large bathtub, and there were two large outdoor terraces. A variety of welcome snacks were provided.

The assigned room had a fantastic location, right downstairs from the Shaiqiu (autumn grain drying) workshop, which was very convenient. Self-driving guests can drive directly up to the guesthouse's parking lot! All the staff were very welcoming. Despite the crowds during the National Day holiday, staying inside the scenic area allowed us to avoid the hustle and bustle.

Autumn's fairy tale town, half misty rain, half poetry, half stairs, half slopes. When you come to Wuyuan, you must see Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn' (晒秋). If it's a holiday, definitely stay overnight. You can enjoy the night view performance in the evening, and the next day, before the crowds arrive, you can easily take serene photos of Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn'. I highly recommend Yishanju for accommodation. Its location is absolutely superb. Right outside, you'll find 'sun-drying autumn' photo spots, and taking the elevator to the first floor directly leads to Shuijie (Water Street). The rooms are clean and hygienic. For three adults and one child, the pink-themed family balcony room was spacious, and opening the window revealed mountain views. A light rain added to the autumn charm with its misty atmosphere. My friend's king-size balcony room had an even better location, offering direct views of the 'sun-drying autumn' spot from the main street. Breakfast is provided with a shuttle service to the bamboo house across the street, which is at a lower elevation. The breakfast spread is comprehensive, so you'll definitely eat your fill. Guests staying at the hotel have an exclusive cable car channel for ascending the mountain. Upon disembarking the cable car, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the hotel reception. There are many dining options throughout the scenic area. I highly recommend staying a night at Yishanju.

Facilities: Excellent. There's a bathtub, a shower, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation. The curtains are automatic, and they provide fruit and pastries. There was also an oil paper umbrella DIY activity, but I didn't get to participate due to time constraints. Hygiene: Also very good. Environment: Opening the window offers a view of the 'shaiqiu' (autumn sun-drying) and terraced fields. Access is convenient; the hotel reception center on the 1st floor is right by the water street, which is where the evening performances take place. Service: The mountain road was difficult to navigate, and they helped us with our luggage, even carrying it upstairs. They really worked hard! Also, the hotel's 4th-floor area is restricted to guests, which helps ensure a quiet rest. If you stay again within three years, you can get free admission tickets and cable car tickets. Hotel guests also have a VIP channel for the cable car, so you don't have to wait an hour like during National Day.

Even before checking in, the hotel's concierge service proactively reached out to me by phone, offering information on local activities. Throughout my stay, every staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. The autumn scenery in the area was also breathtaking.

Choosing a hotel within a scenic area is usually for the views and the overall experience, and the Yishanju scenic room perfectly met those expectations. The room decor was elegant, and the full-length window was ideal for enjoying the scenery. Being in the highest row of accommodations provided a perfect view of the 'shaiqiu' (sun-drying autumn harvest). The best way to experience Huangling is to stay at Yishanju – no need to rush out and explore constantly. The chair height was just right for leaning by the window and gazing outside, and from the bed, you could see the distant mountains, which was just perfect. The video and pictures are for perspective.
