I absolutely love the rooms at Shangri-La; they're always impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous, and the staff were very attentive to the elderly. The seafood millet porridge from room service was delicious. Christin, the restaurant manager, was professional and detail-oriented, and she resolved all issues wonderfully.

The room isn't huge, but the bathroom and other spaces are quite spacious. The service attitude is excellent, and they pay great attention to detail. For example, knowing I have many toiletries, the hotel thoughtfully provided something to put them on, which deserves high praise. Housekeeping was also very thorough each time. As the hotel is located in the CBD with high floors, the views are fantastic, making it a popular spot for Instagrammers. It's definitely worth staying here. Every time our family went for breakfast, they arranged everything perfectly for us, so I'm giving it a good review. It would be even better if there were more variety in the breakfast options!

The front desk service was not warm enough and didn't reflect the quality expected of a five-star hotel. The shower drain was severely clogged, leaving my feet submerged in water. A truly disappointing hotel. Such a great location deserves better quality.

Whenever I travel to Beijing for business, I always choose this hotel. It's a guaranteed great experience. The service is excellent, the hygiene is impeccable, and the food on the 80th floor is always a pleasant surprise. Due to a change in my itinerary, the hotel was able to accommodate my request to cancel my booking without any charge, which was fantastic. The service is truly exceptional, and it remains my go-to choice for accommodation.

Terrible experience! 1. Abysmal Service and Customer Humiliation On August 29, 2026, I was staying at the hotel with my two-month-old baby. Feeling unwell due to a cold, I requested to extend my stay at the front desk. Instead of assisting, the front desk staff refused, citing that the twin room was 'reserved by a group.' They then chastised me, asking 'why didn't you extend your stay earlier?' and proceeded to 'teach' me how to book a hotel. Their tone was full of sarcasm and superiority, making me feel humiliated. As a postpartum mother, this attitude went beyond professional boundaries. 2. Lack of Basic Human Care Even though they knew I had a baby and I proactively asked for a mask, the hotel not only failed to provide any assistance but also took a crude 'either change rooms or check out' approach regarding the extension, completely disregarding the critical need for a stable environment for a baby and a new mother. 3. Booking System Lacks Emergency Mechanisms The hotel was fully aware that I was traveling with a baby and large baby items, yet they demanded I vacate the room without any prior warning. This clearly exposed their lack of contingency plans for long-term guests and those with special needs.

The room was spacious and soundproof. The bed and pillows were very soft, so I slept really well. The service was excellent, and their responses were quick. The hairdryer wasn't up to par, though.

My only minor complaint was with the concierge at the ground floor entrance; they weren't very proactive in welcoming guests, and I wasn't informed that a key card was needed to access the 64th floor. Everything else was fantastic. Check-in was very quick, I received a complimentary room upgrade, and they even helped me arrange a room with a large sofa. The customer service staff were all very enthusiastic. The bartender on the 80th floor made some beautiful cocktails. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were excellent, and the food was delicious 👌🏻 My only suggestion would be to consider adding some activities for children near the gym, as the existing equipment isn't suitable for them.

Conveniently located in a bustling commercial area, with great views of the city from the high floors. The service was warm and welcoming, the room was spacious, and the breakfast selection was quite rich. The executive lounge was also good, and my kids loved the heated swimming pool. Overall, a really great experience.
