Amor Resort Koh Rong

I'm sharing this review: We had an excellent stay at Amor Resort on Koh Rong Island. The hotel boasts an ideal location, right on a beautiful white-sand beach, in a peaceful and exotic setting. The bungalows are spacious, very comfortable, and perfectly suited for enjoying the island to the fullest. The swimming pool is also a real plus: beautifully lit in the evening, it provides a very pleasant setting for dining in a warm atmosphere. The regular barbecue evenings organized on the beach are a great moment for socializing, with fresh produce and a relaxed atmosphere. Another unforgettable experience is going to admire the bioluminescent plankton on the beach at night: an absolutely magical natural spectacle. The team is always available to help you discover Koh Rong. The hotel offers scooter rentals, excursions, and tuk-tuk transfers, which makes it easy to visit different parts of the island. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for the quality of its hospitality, its comfort, its exceptional location, and all the experiences it offers. We will gladly return.

It's just so-so. Too remote. Inconvenient to get in and out. The road is bumpy. The $71 hotel breakfast is just toast and tea.

If you like to be disconnected from the world, this is your place. You'll have a huge pool, good food, and great service. Being disconnected means you don't have many options without transportation, so if you like a little bit of life, you'll have to pay for it. The food is really good. The beach is right in front of you, but it's not one of the best on the island.
