The Marin Phuket Kamala Beach

I don't understand the rave reviews. Of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip, this was by far the worst. The location is just awful; within a kilometer radius, there's no 7/11 or any other decent grocery stores. Same problem with food – the only good option nearby is Indian cuisine. So, if you don't have a car, just skip it. Perhaps this hotel would appeal to those who enjoy long walks, but you'd have to walk either along a dusty main road without sidewalks or along the beach past a Muslim cemetery! If we had known this, we would never have come to this part of Kamala or this hotel. The hotel is new, and the renovation is beautiful, but I found a cockroach in our room on the 5th floor. Breakfast is generally good. The front desk staff isn't very friendly; they don't greet you. When we checked out, we saw other guests being welcomed with drinks and cooling towels, but not us. The pools are like kiddie pools, 1.20m deep, and the lower one is impossible to be in during the day with tons of kids splashing around. Overall, if you're looking for an Instagram-worthy spot, the hotel is nice and beautiful, but it's not a place for a truly relaxing vacation.

The accommodation is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious.

Excellent hotel, just a 2-minute walk from Kamala Beach! Everything is brand new, and the rooms are equipped with everything you need. The hotel provides beach flip-flops, beach towels, and a beach bag, which is a huge plus. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help! The breakfasts were quite varied, and the omelets were delicious. The rooftop bar was a lovely spot to spend the evenings! We definitely recommend this hotel!!

Excellent hotel! The staff is very responsive, and the pools and sun loungers are great. Reasonable prices at the bar. There's an amazing cafe and massage place right next to the hotel! The sea is just three minutes away. We will definitely be back.

Spacious and clean rooms. The staff provided excellent service. There are two large swimming pools.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities, being new, were fantastic! The amenities were great and the pool was clean and lovely. It's a quiet place, and you can walk to the beach right in front, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Phuket!

The accommodation is beautiful and luxuriously decorated at a great price. The staff are lovely, provide excellent service, and are very polite. There's a wide variety of food to choose from.
