The hotel's location is excellent, right near the subway station. From Hong Kong Airport, I took the A21 bus to Metropark Hotel Mongkok, and it was just a five-minute walk to The BEACON. There's also a traditional wet market nearby worth exploring. The hotel facilities are all new, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. 👍

Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Good. Service: Good. Facilities: Complete. The room has a water dispenser with plenty of water, which is very convenient. There's also a microwave in the room. The transparent, curved bathroom looks quite nice. Toothpaste and toothbrushes are provided.

I chose the Madera Hotel Hong Kong because I was looking for a quiet place to work. It's conveniently located near both Mong Kok and Olympic MTR stations, about a 15-minute walk to either. The hotel lobby is on the first floor, accessible by elevator. To reach the guest rooms, you need to tap your room card, which made me feel more secure, especially since the Cui Hu Restaurant is on the second floor. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the air conditioning really made the room cold if set below 24 degrees. Initially, I couldn't find the refrigerator. I asked a staff member, and another housekeeper showed me that it was a built-in cabinet disguised as a white wall. It would be clearer if the hotel placed a small diagram on the cabinet door. There's a charging station by the bed with both USB and Type-C ports, which was very convenient. All four pillows on the bed were quite soft; it would be better if one of them was firmer or more supportive. The room also had a microwave and cutlery, so I could order takeout and eat in. Plus, there was an easy-to-use Philips water dispenser that provided filtered hot water in just a few seconds – excellent! A special note about the window: it was very noisy when it rained, and I'd recommend keeping the curtains closed because there are residents in the building opposite who could see into the room, including when showering. The shower stall had a semi-circular design, with black flooring and an excellent drainage system; the water drained quickly, and the floor dried fast. However, there was a drawback with the showerhead: when I turned on the hot water, there was a loud whistling sound. Also, the knob to switch to the rain shower was very stiff; I had to pull it with a lot of force to change the setting. I hope the hotel can improve this. I also want to express my sincere thanks to the housekeeper, Ah Fang. She was very responsible and attentive. She even tidied up small bits of rubbish in my room, and thanks to her care, I felt very comfortable and at ease during my stay. The hotel is small and lacks other facilities, but if you're looking for a quiet place to work or are a traveler visiting Hong Kong, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the subway station, which is very convenient for getting around. It's in a lively area but still quiet, so sleeping at night is generally peaceful, except for the occasional late-returning guest talking loudly. The air conditioning works great and is very quiet. The dim sum at the restaurant on the 2nd floor is excellent, not too expensive, and tastes really good!

I booked a Premier Room, but it seems a previous guest had been smoking in it. Since there were no other Premier Rooms available, they upgraded me to a Deluxe Room. The room was very clean.

The room's cleanliness and environment were both good, but the hotel's location is a bit out of the way.

The hotel is surrounded by tons of great restaurants and shops, which is super convenient. It's also very new, and the lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea bags. Slippers and toiletries are provided in the room, making check-in a breeze. I'll definitely be back!

The room was just about okay, but then again, hotels in Hong Kong are notoriously small! I was mentally prepared for that, and overall, it was quite clean and tidy. The front desk staff were also quite pleasant. All in all, it wasn't bad, and the facilities were pretty comprehensive.
