JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa

From the lobby to the rooms, the restaurant, the beach, and every little detail, everything was beautiful! I couldn't stop taking pictures~~ It truly lives up to its reputation as the most beautiful Marriott!

The environment here is very quiet, and you can access the pool and the sea right from your doorstep. The hygiene is also good. However, finding staff who speak Chinese at the front desk was difficult. Phu Quoc is almost always busy, even during the rainy season, and my English isn't great, which led to a bit of a struggle with the reception staff who looked quite annoyed trying to understand me. 😅

JW Marriott definitely has a high-end feel. They even gave my child a free breakfast and didn't charge me for a broken cup. They also managed to find my lost translator! Plus, they gave us a gift. The design is truly impressive and great for photos. It really stands out compared to local Vietnamese brands.

Five-star review! The service team was incredibly friendly, and the housekeeping was spotless; they even did turn-down service. It was my son's birthday on the day we checked in, and I had asked the hotel in advance to arrange a surprise setup, which was absolutely perfect. The breakfast selection was amazing and diverse, offering Chinese, Western, Japanese, Korean, and even Vietnamese options. The hotel grounds are stunning; I took so many beautiful photos. Our Turquoise Suite was like something out of a fairytale—I couldn't be happier. We also dined at Pink Pearl, the Michelin-starred French restaurant, to celebrate my son's birthday, and they surprised us with a cake and white chocolate. There are three swimming pools, and my daughter spent all her time in them!

Terrible service! We arrived late at night, and the front desk manager refused to let my child check in, claiming they were over 12 years old. They demanded an additional 5,400,000 VND and had a very rude attitude. It really ruined our trip. The environment was mediocre, the facilities were old, and the room curtains let in light. Just awful 👎

For our company team-building trip, we splurged and booked four rooms. With Marriott Gold/Platinum status, the upgrades were incredibly smooth, almost like having a cheat code! The rooms? In a word: the ultimate 'lie-flat' haven. Once I collapsed onto the bed, I felt like I'd reached peak relaxation. The private beach was ours to enjoy, with paddleboarding and kayaking 🏖️🚣 all completely free! We didn't want to leave the water. We rotated through the three pools, swimming like we were on a diving challenge. Breakfast was so amazing, I wanted to become best friends with the chef. But what really impressed me was the service – everyone deserves five stars, smiling like old friends. Just outside the hotel entrance, there are local street food stalls, perfect for late-night snacks. Want to visit Sunset Town? Just grab a shuttle bus and you'll be there in no time. Plus, our stay came with a complimentary fireworks show 🎆, so no need to plan for romance yourself. Oh, and the same shuttle bus goes directly to the Hon Thom cable car, offering a 'god's-eye view' of the sea – totally worth it. All in all: This hotel is truly the king of resorts – perfect for team building and pure relaxation. You have to experience it to believe it! 😎

The most anticipated part of our Phu Quoc trip, and indeed, it was the most beautiful Marriott. I was initially worried about the rainy season, but the weather was fantastic and incredibly beautiful. Just strolling around the hotel was very pleasant. All the staff were very service-oriented, and the breakfast had a great variety and tasted good. (I found Kiss of the Sea to be quite mediocre. The package included two tickets, so we went to check it out, but if you have to buy extra tickets, I'd definitely reconsider.)

This is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in, with absolutely no regrets. Even though I booked the most basic suite, I was incredibly satisfied. I only stayed one night, but I spent a day and a half there, wanting to experience every corner. It was just too beautiful to leave. The design inspiration and the use of colors perfectly matched my aesthetic; every angle was a picture, and any photo I snapped with my phone turned out beautifully. The university campus vibe, for someone like me who appreciates art and elegance, was utterly irresistible. The decorations on the walls were full of artistic flair. One could say that this entire complex is an outstanding piece of art. The human appreciation for beauty must be universal. I genuinely thank the designers and architects, and I thank all this beauty.
