Cyrus Hotel, Topeka, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The room was the most expensive in town, but very nice. Only complaint on the room was the tiny window and bad view. No pool or hot tub or much to do outside. Restaurant was amazing and affordable.

Great location and cozy hotel.

The room was super far away from the elevator and smelled like terrible body odor or smelly feet. They did try to deodorize it, but that didn’t help. The floor was also sticky and when I put a wet towel down to try to clean it, the towel was black from whatever was on the hard wood/laminate floor. They moved me to a different room and it was much better. Parking is super shady across a dark alley and guests have to lug their luggage down stairs and across the alley and enter through a back door. Bring back valley parking, please.

The Cyrus Hotel is in a great area of downtown in walking distance to the capitol and restaurants including The Weather Room which is in the hotel. It is nicely decorated with comfortable bed. The only thing you should be aware of if you have a car is that you pay $14 per night for parking. The parking garage has hotel spaces from floor 8 and up and will have to walk across an alley to get back to the hotel. If you do park, be sure to keep one room key after you check out or you won’t be able to get into or out of the garage when you leave.

An attractive mix of history and modern updates. We found this property to be clean, the staff to be friendly and the parking garage was helpful on a rainy evening.

This hotel was booked for us after a disasterous mess up on ********** part. We are still waiting for our refund from our other hotel that was charged the same night, but this hotel was at least safe to land at midnight. If we had chose this hotel to begin with we would have been thrilled. It is in pristine condition!

The room decor was awesome. The bar was great as well. It was very clean and the shower and bed were excellent. The only issue was the air conditioner was very loud.

We had a great stay and having the restaurant on site was really helpful
