Millennium Hilton Bangkok

The hotel is right next to ICONSIAM, a 5-minute walk away. It has its own shuttle pier with boats departing every half hour, taking you across the river to the BTS station. You can also enjoy a night cruise on the Chao Phraya River in the evening and capture photos of ICONSIAM's night view. Although the facilities aren't brand new five-star, they are very clean. Breakfast is abundant, but the variety is a bit limited, with almost no changes to the menu over my three-day stay.

The hotel is right next to a large shopping mall, just a 5-minute walk away. Given how congested the mall's traffic can get, staying at this hotel really highlights its convenience. The mall nearby offers both snacks and restaurants. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich, and the dining environment is quite good. The in-room facilities are decent, especially considering that many hotels in Bangkok, Thailand, have been around for a while. The staff members are all friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated by the river, and the view from the room is quite pleasant and relaxing.

The room view is great, with a direct river view. The family room is spacious enough for a family of four without feeling crowded, and the king-size bed is big enough for everyone to sleep in comfortably without needing the sofa bed. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store right opposite the hotel, and it's a 5-minute walk to ICONSIAM. There are also many massage parlors across the street. The food at the swimming pool is absolutely delicious!

The location and facilities are great, but the hotel is a bit old. The only downside was the bathtub, which was quite old and had some peeling paint. Once, while I was soaking, I even found a small insect, which was quite unpleasant. Other than that, the service was very good.

The hotel facilities are outdated. This time, the air conditioning in my room was broken; no matter what temperature I set it to, the room always stayed at 18 degrees Celsius. I felt like I was going to freeze to death in Bangkok on the first night. I reported it to the front desk, and a maintenance person came to check it, but they just told us to set the temperature higher.

Located right next to IconSiam, I believe it's the closest five-star hotel to the mall. As expected from Hilton, the service is excellent, and the breakfast selection is quite extensive. While we were at breakfast, the staff promptly cleaned our room. When we returned, it was already spotless, and the cleaning quality was superb – they even coiled up my phone charging cable! The only downside is that walking to IconSiam requires going out onto a crowded small street, which feels a bit far. It would be perfect if they had a riverside walkway or a covered bridge connecting directly.

I'm very satisfied with this hotel. The location, hotel quality, staff service, and the hotel's breakfast and ferry shuttle service were all incredibly convenient. Definitely worth a high rating.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to IconSiam. When the mall closes, you don't have to fight for a taxi with everyone else; you can just walk back to the hotel, which is great. Since my itinerary was focused on the Chao Phraya River, it was really easy to get to the IconSiam pier to catch the blue flag tourist boat, perfectly avoiding traffic jams. I booked a river view room, but it wasn't directly facing the river. I had requested not to be given a corner room, but I still ended up with one of the rooms furthest to the side, so I had to lean a bit to see the river view. The room wasn't huge, but there was enough space. A pleasant surprise was that I left a 20 baht tip on the bed and received a towel elephant. Eating breakfast outdoors with a river view was very enjoyable. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, definitely the best I had on this trip.

The hotel offers a free shuttle boat every half hour from the pier, and it's also very close to ICONSIAM, just a 5-minute walk. During my stay, there was a fly in the room. After I swatted it in the bathtub, many small white bugs appeared around it. I called the hotel, and they proactively upgraded my room and offered complimentary fruit and dessert as an apology. However, the hotel pool is quite small and there were many children, so I didn't really get to use it.
