The hotel's location is pretty good; it's easy to order takeout, and there's free parking. We booked a twin room with a window, but the space was a bit cramped. The bathroom door was a bit tight to turn around in once closed. There was only a small desk, barely big enough for a laptop, so eating takeout as a family of three around it was impossible. The shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable. The hotel offers free coffee, and breakfast is very reasonably priced. One thing I didn't quite understand was that when you turn off the TV, the in-room Wi-Fi disconnects, and you have to use the hotel's public Wi-Fi. 😅

This was my first time staying at an Ibis hotel, and this one is super close to the airport – within walking distance, actually. They also offer shuttle services, and someone even called me the day before to ask if I needed a pick-up, which was a nice touch. Overall, the service here is excellent; every staff member greets you warmly. The hotel environment is great too, with smart toilets and a mattress that's just the right firmness. Even with my bad back, I slept perfectly fine. There's also a gym and a laundry room upstairs. I have to mention the breakfast – it's really plentiful, with freshly made rice noodles or rice cakes. I tried the local specialty peanut rice cakes, and they were quite tasty!

The room was small, like a budget hotel. I hadn't stayed at this hotel before, but I generally feel that hotels in Pu'er aren't very good, and the prices aren't low either. A similar hotel like the Ibis in Chengdu only averages 100-200 yuan per night… this one is over 500 yuan. Having come from Xishuangbanna, I feel the hotels here aren't as good as those there, and the price-performance ratio isn't high either. The breakfast was okay; although the variety wasn't great, the taste was alright.
