great Hotel a must stay and do the tour!

We arrived at the hotel around 11am to store our luggage before going on a tour but the hotel was able to check us in with a different room type, which we gladly accepted. Thank you!

Beautiful, iconic, historical hotel. Rooms are starting to look outdated. Friendly front desk staff, overall.

So Awesome! A true Five Star experience. We travel quite a bit now that we’re retired, and the Hilton Curio Hotel at Union Station in St. Louis was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The facility is over-the-top gorgeous Art Deco, and the building’s beauty is exceeded only by the outstanding staff. Every interaction with a Hilton representative was exceptional. They Loved! working there - and it showed. Spend time in the main hall, and you’ll be offered food and beverage service, cocktails, ice cream, the epitome of Full Service. And then the light show starts! View the images of St. Louis Union Station to see how magnificent this restored building is, and then imagine a State of the Art sound and light show projected on the ceiling and interacting with the embedded lighting. Don’t take my word for it - Go!

Within 30 minutes of being in my room I was bitten by a flea! I was able to trap, kill and keep it to show to the front desk. To my surprise when I went to use the room phone it wasn’t connected to anything at all. Once I called the front desk and informed the woman in the phone, she didn’t even offer an apology. She told me to come downstairs and retrieve keys for a new room. No one from management spoke to me or even checked on me. Rooms were not well cleaned. Dust and dirt in obvious places, hairs in the shower and on the “clean towels”. There are no microwaves in the room. The worst experience here was a woman leaving the hotel with her cat! A open litter box, with feces inside it, was being transported on a luggage trolley along with a hair covered cat gym. I ate at the restaurant and ordered from the bar where I will paid $33 for an amaretto sour with a shot of whiskey. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and It’s a cute place with lots of fun things but not worth the hype. Will not be back

I cannot express how AMAZING of a time me and my husband had at this hotel! Starting with the fact that we had a long hot tiring day when we checked in to the hotel and we were so ready for the weekend but we both had a headache, the woman who checked us in at the desk showed us where the market was so that we could get some headache medicine, we work our way over there to find out it was closed but Jon and I unfortunately cannot remember his last name saw we were needing something and said if it’s something small I can let you in to get it. We get what we need and he asked us what we were there for and we said it was our 5 year anniversary and he told us find him in the grand hall later that night and he would treat us to something! In my mind it would be something small but when I tell you this man went SO FAR out of his way to make sure we had an amazing night! He started us off with a whole bottle of champagne and then asked us about dinner which we declined since we weren’t hungry then asked us about dessert! We got the key lime margarita and the pistachio margarita and he ended up getting the ACTUAL desserts that went with the drinks! A key lime pie and a pistachio dessert! We had a wonderful time talking to him in which he let us know about the polar express that happens around Christmas and more that made us EVEN MORE willing to come back! And to top it all off all of that was on the house! That gesture that Jon did not only made an awesome night even more amazing it made us want to and WILL tell anybody and everybody about the hospitality, care, and time that Jon and MANY other staff put in to make our sweet moment even more memorable and meaningful that it could have ever been! Sydney that works at the bar in the grand hall and Jon deserve a raise for the time and care they put into our night and we will ABSOLUTELY be coming back!! THANK YOU!!

We got lost everywhere we went. It’s a beautiful building so I don’t mind the reroute sometimes. The elevators to the tower rooms, I assume, was breathtaking. It would be perfect for a fashion show. Parking for two cars was pricey. Things to do but everything was expensive. For two nights we spent
