Posher House Urumqi Hotel (Tianshan International Airport · Degang Wanda)

Overall, it was pretty good, and the service was excellent. I especially want to commend the security guards and the bellboys; they both helped me with my luggage. Now for the downsides: the water from the bathtub faucet was very yellow, as if it hadn't been used in a long time. The smart butler was incredibly difficult to use. I tried telling it to open the screen window multiple times, but it didn't respond at all. It was much easier to just open it manually. The same goes for the lights; if voice control isn't reliable, there should be physical switches as a backup. This is a fundamental product design flaw. Parking in the outdoor lot was quite tight, and there were very few EV charging spots, only two or three, tucked away in a corner. If a car parks in front of you, it's very difficult to get out. This shows that the hotel doesn't really prioritize the experience of electric vehicle owners.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! I have to commend the front desk lady for her gentle and friendly demeanor. Check-in was quick, and she patiently answered all my questions. She was thoughtful and professional, which made me feel very welcome, and she was also very beautiful. Both her looks and service were top-notch.

The biggest issue with this hotel is the parking. When I first pulled up to the main entrance, I honestly couldn't believe I had arrived. Is this really a five-star hotel? Oh my goodness, I wanted to turn right around and leave! Then, a staff member with a local accent told me there were no more spots on the ground level and directed me to park my car in an elevator to access the underground parking. 😹😹😹 The underground garage itself was also incredibly messy and poorly maintained! Secondly, the room decor was very basic, at most a three-star, maybe a four-star standard. Even the hotel's exterior looked like a three-star property! The crucial point is that for all this, a room costs over 800 RMB, which is more expensive than what you'd pay in Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen. To have such a low-quality room and parking at this price point is simply beyond my imagination! The breakfast buffet was also only at a four-star standard. Good heavens, I'll never trust Ctrip again! Why do they rate this as five stars? And I specifically booked this hotel because it was listed as the third-best luxury hotel in Urumqi and was renovated in the last two years. The complimentary peaches were also overripe and almost spoiled 😓. If the decor is subpar, at least the view should be decent, right? But from the balcony, all you see are dense residential buildings. I'm truly speechless about this hotel. After just landing, being put in a hotel like this with such decor completely ruined my mood. I was just unhappy the whole time. The only thing that truly felt five-star about this hotel was the staff; they were quite enthusiastic.

Had a fantastic stay, absolutely loved it. We stayed here when we first arrived in Urumqi and again on our way back. They even gave my child a small toy as a souvenir. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious too. This was definitely the best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip!

I’d like to give a special shout-out to Xiao Ye, the concierge staff member, during my recent stay at the Urumqi Pushe Qinyuan Hotel (Tianshan International Airport Degang Wanda Branch). Xiao Ye was incredibly warm and attentive, always polite and helpful. Upon my arrival, he proactively assisted me with arranging a taxi, which significantly eased my travel burden. Knowing that my train departed early the next morning and would conflict with the hotel's breakfast hours, Xiao Ye thoughtfully informed the front desk and meticulously coordinated my breakfast arrangements. He truly went above and beyond, always approaching solutions from a guest’s perspective to resolve any travel difficulties. His meticulous and thoughtful service made my trip feel incredibly warm and truly made me feel at home. He deserves high praise!

The hotel exterior is a bit unassuming, but the LOFT room was quite spacious and comfortable, although the shower had a moldy smell. Breakfast offered a decent variety. It's not far from the train station and airport, but a bit of a distance from the Grand Bazaar. It's a good option for a transit hotel, as there aren't many better choices for five-star hotels with good value in Urumqi. Thanks to Yemulan Hairati for the complimentary souvenir! The nearby Huijia Times Square is pretty good; the naan at its supermarket is much tastier than what they sell at the Grand Bazaar – crispy outside, soft inside, very fragrant, and cheap at 5 yuan each. The scallion pancake with savory sauce next door was also delicious!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The lobby's Chinese-style design is grand and impressive. The rooms are spacious, and it's an all-in-one property. For anyone visiting Xinjiang, I highly recommend staying here. Plus, the hotel's complimentary souvenirs are really lovely!

The hotel environment is cozy and inviting, and the rooms feature smart amenities. The front desk staff and the bellboy were very welcoming and helpful. The bedding was comfortable. The only downside that made our whole family unhappy was the terrible soundproofing.
