White Barn Inn, Auberge Collection

We stayed in the loft and it honestly was a gorgeous room. This hotel is very stunning. Like all Auberge properties the decor is phenomenal and inspiring. Location was great for walk ability to Dock Square and the beach. We drove every where else. White barn restaurant is delicious so make sure to eat there for a special dinner! We also loved eating breakfast at Little Barn every morning. The only negative we had regarding the room is that you are above the restaurant. Therefore the base from the music comes through since you are in an old building. We had to complain a few times but staff always lowered it and were very understanding. It seems to get quiet by 11:00pm til 7:30 am. Other than that tiny issue, I think this is the best room on the property besides the cottages and houseboats. The bathroom is huge, there’s a private patio, fireplace and your own entrance ! I would stay there again.

The fantastic team organised a wonderful few days for us. A superb culinary experience rounded it all off in style. It’s a beautiful place with lovely people. Thank you!

My husband and I were able to get away last minute. I called the hotel and Nhia was able to get us booked for a room, and connected me to the spa for treatment bookings. And their concierge contacted me within 3 hours to help with dinner reservations. Upon arrival, the staff worked hard to get us an early check in. Upon entering our room, we had a portfolio with the itinerary for our entire stay printed out and waiting for us. And there was a nice bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in the room as well, to celebrate my belated birthday. The staff remembered why we were there and they treated us with so much attention and respect. I highly recommend this inn for couples looking for a nice getaway. We were offered Mercedes on the property to use during our stay as well, which was such a unique experience I haven’t experienced elsewhere. The Big Barn and the Little Barn had great vibes to them. We had drinks in the big barn and dinner/breakfast in the little barn. Both great experienced. We will definitely go back and try the big barn for dinner another time. This won’t be our last time staying here. Nice to have a 5 star option in Maine to go to.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. Matthew at the front desk made an amazing first impression and continued to impress us throughout our stay. He and Grace always provided personalized recommendations and always took the time to help with any questions. Nhia was warm and welcoming too. Check in and check out were quick and easy. We loved the welcome drink at check in! We also made good use of the fleet of Mercedes. We styed in a junior suite with a fireplace and a large soaking tub in the main inn. It was a gorgeous room that allowed the character and charm of the inn to shine through without sacrificing convenience or comfort. The weather was fairly cold and rainy so our room was a perfect respite after our daily activities. The welcome snacks and nightly beside treats were great. And of course we loved the daily coffee delivery right to our door. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day of our stay. We also made use of the inn's Living Room. We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace quietly reading or chatting with other guests and also enjoyed a game of Scrabble. Dining was a highlight and we enjoyed daily breakfast in the Little Barn as well as some in room dining. The seven course blind tasting menu at the White Barn restaurant was a very special experience. Staff were always happy to accommodate special requests and provided fantastic service. Nils and Bella were two standouts as well as Cesar who was so kind and attentive to us. We scheduled the Date Nigh at the Spa experience which included a couples massage, a few selections from the chef delivered to the spa, and exclusive use of the spa suite for the remainder of the evening. It was a major highlight during our stay. Jayleen and Brittany were amazing massage therapists (some of the best we have ever had) and made our date night something special. This property is special with consistently wonderful service, thoughtful design, and comfortable touches. It was such a memorable getaway for us and we will certainly return.

The White Barn Inn embodies the charm of Maine, the staff, the decor and the small details made for a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Inn who helped make it extra special. There are many places to stay in the area, however, this will be the only place we will ever stay when we return!

Hands down the place to stay in Kennebunkport! Service, food, and amenities are at the highest level! Already recommended it to all my friends and family. We will be back!

It started with broken AC at check-in. We didn’t complain or request a room change because they put window AC units in and we don’t like to complain. But swatting at mosquitoes and trying to sleep while hearing buzzing is at a different level. We would have been better in a tent with netting in Acadia! We complained at the front desk throughout and were told maintenance would be sent. No follow-up was provided for what they did (if anything), and the mosquitoes got worse! Management did nothing to apologize or compensate us for the terrible experience. At checkout, the receptionist said it “wasn’t the experience they hope for” and that prior to finalizing the bill, she would talk to the managers and they would call. We never heard from anyone and they put through the full charge the next day. It’s a beautiful area, but find another hotel because this doesn’t live up to Auberge reputation.
