All the reception staff were super lovely, providing attentive and patient service with quick responses whenever needed. To find such a reasonably priced hotel in this location with such excellent service—five-star review! Convenient transportation and a great location. The hotel provides toiletries like shower gel and shampoo, and laundry facilities are available. You can even have the staff tumble dry your clothes and bring them up to your room or leave them at your door. You can also ship your purchases to the hotel address in advance, and they will gladly collect your packages for you. The facilities are fully equipped and comprehensive, the room was super clean and well-maintained. Overall, our stay was very comfortable! But this five-star rating goes not just to the hotel, but especially to the wonderful front desk team!

The hotel staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and attentive! The room was clean, hygienic, tidy, and free of any strange odors. The breakfast was abundant, delicious, and appealing to both the eyes and the palate—just the way I like it. I will definitely stay here again next time!

The most satisfying night of our stay in Guilin. The room was spacious and very clean, with a food street right downstairs and a fantastic location. The hardware facilities were great, especially the soundproofing, making for a very quiet night. The receptionist was lovely and extremely welcoming. She upgraded our room and even helped carry our luggage all the way to the door. She definitely deserves a big thumbs-up!

The hotel is located right in the heart of Guilin's city center, close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. There is a bus stop right downstairs, and several of Guilin's must-eat restaurants are within walking distance, with plenty of local snack options nearby as well. We booked the terrace room, which offers great views of both the mountains and the city skyline. The receptionist was lovely and very welcoming; when we missed the parking entrance due to navigation issues, she actually walked out to the street to guide us in and helped with our luggage. Parking is very convenient too.

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. A few days before our arrival, they called to inquire about our estimated check-in time, though we weren't entirely sure yet. On the day of arrival, we got in rather early and called to ask if an early check-in was possible. They said they would do their best to arrange it, and sure enough, everything was ready by the time we got to the hotel. The environment is lovely and we were extremely satisfied, so we decided to extend our stay for two more nights.

I stumbled upon Hongshe Hotel during my trip to Guilin. After checking its location, I found it very close to the attractions I wanted to visit, such as Elephant Trunk Hill, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and the Jingjiang Princes' City—just a short taxi ride costing only a few yuan. So, I decided to book a one-night stay. The room had no unpleasant odors, and the bathroom floor was clean without any yellowish stains. The air conditioning provided a comfortable temperature, not overwhelmingly cold. I didn't hear any noise on the day of my stay and slept extremely well. The bathroom was even stocked with laundry detergent—the first time I've ever seen that provided by a hotel—which showed a very thoughtful touch by management. The receptionist was lovely and provided great suggestions for my sightseeing. Breakfast on the 9th floor featured a good variety of freshly stir-fried dishes, several kinds of fruit, beef noodles, and rice noodles. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience.

This hotel is located in the very heart of the city, much like Wangfujing in Beijing, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. It's a 10-minute walk to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area and just 5 minutes to the department store. The best part is that while it's rated as a 4-star hotel, the service we experienced felt entirely 5-star. The young lady at the front desk provided extraordinarily attentive service. From changing our room and handling our luggage to introducing local attractions, every single thing she did was warm, meticulous, and thoughtful. A young man in charge of vehicle services even personally guided us to the parking lot and helped us with our bags. It made us feel right at home, and just like the stunning landscapes of Guilin, our emotional satisfaction was simply maxed out!
