This is my second time checking into Hotel Ciputra Simpang Lima. It's a 5-star hotel with a reasonable price. Although the hotel is a bit old, all the equipment and facilities are functioning well. The service from all the staff was excellent. The breakfast spread was satisfying and offered a wide variety of choices. The location is great, facing Simpang Lima Square, which has many options for delicious and affordable dinner, as well as places to stroll and enjoy the night scenery. It's also next to Ciputra Mall, a place for shopping and various food options in the food court, including fast food (McDonald's). I was deeply touched that Ciputra Hotel Simpang Lima surprised my wife with a birthday celebration. The toilet was very dirty and smelled of urine. The bed was okay, but the carpet wasn't vacuumed and had a lot of hair and dust. It is really old and run down. Poorly maintained and not very clean .Additionally most rooms smell of stale cigarettes that we tried to stay in. We gave up. Only one of our family member room did not smell

Everyone was friendly..Staff were helpful and polite..They greeted you everytime they see you..Some even offered to assist you even though if you didn’t ask.Service was simply perfect,no complains! Gym and pool were under maintenance.Construction was going on at the main hotel.Wasn’t aware of the maintenance till you checked in (Maintenance Notice placed on room table).Maybe updates should be reflected on third party apps or via whatsapp to avoid disappointment. Wifi was poor.For a well rated hotel,this was a huge letdown.Management & maintenance should look into this.Was staying at room 806.Not sure if other floors or rooms are encountering this problem.Ended up using data roaming through my 3 days there.
