From the front desk to the top floor the hotel really prides itself with service and dedication! The receptionists speak English and all the amenities were top notch for the hotel’s room price. They have valet clothes washing (during operating hours), clean indoor high rise gym, free live television, overhead shower, they even have sit down bidet toilet with seat warmer function, and complimentary afternoon tea. I stayed on the 21st floor and my view is pretty nice. My main point of contact was Yuki and instead of just a desk worker she made me feel like I was speaking to a friend to explain or help me with anything around the hotel! I even extended my stay by four nights because of Yuki so thank you for treating my stay with kindness and respect. The location is amazing as when night hits there will be street food stalls littered across the street downstairs. IFC and Taikoo Li is literally a block away and I was able to walk to Tianfu Square, peoples park, Tianfu Hoot Plaza (anime, cosplay, and collectable heaven), cosmo center, lan Kwai fang, dongmen bridge and wharf, and so much more. I saw this hotel from trip’s best stays in Chengdu and I think their accolade is well deserved. Mercure Hotel will be my premier pick for the best bang for the buck hotel stay service and location.
