Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

The location was fantastic, of course, but what really impressed me was the staff's hospitality. And the food, everything was absolutely top-notch. I definitely want to go back!

After much deliberation, we chose this resort for our honeymoon, and we were 100% satisfied with the outcome. Primarily, among natural island resorts with expansive lagoons, only Conrad and Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru fit the bill. There weren't many Koreans, mostly Caucasians, which was a plus for us. The lagoon was fantastic, the house reef snorkeling was excellent, and the food and beverages were superb. Moreover, Louise, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our 4-night, 5-day stay, making our honeymoon truly satisfying. We would definitely return 100%!

Compared to other resorts in the Maldives, the scenery here is quite subpar, especially the overwater bungalows which are really bad. This island is several notches below others in terms of natural beauty. The food is also terrible. We tried the underwater restaurant and the Japanese restaurant, and it all tasted like it was cooked by amateur Indian chefs. There was no professional quality at all; in fact, it was worse than street food you'd find in a city. The service was decent. I've been to the Maldives many times, so I didn't need much. The hotel handled laundry and directions fine. Summary: Just read my review; the others aren't reliable. This hotel lacks in scenery, overwater bungalows, and food. It's barely acceptable for a vacation.

The room was incredibly spacious, with two large bedrooms, a living room with a fully glass floor overlooking the ocean, and a large private pool. Room 349 also had its own private beach, perfect for birdwatching during the day and stunning sunsets in the evening. The butler even took us on a tour of the underwater suite, which I'm already hooked on. The service was impeccable. We had visited Conrad fourteen years ago, and this time we were even more satisfied. We had a 24-hour butler and a dedicated island tour bus. On our first day, after arriving on the island at noon, we wanted to visit the underwater restaurant, but upon inquiry, we found out it was closed. However, to ensure we didn't disappoint, the butler arranged a separate lunch for our family, making it a perfect start to our island adventure. During our stay, we even spotted a whale shark. While chartering a boat with Conrad is expensive, our family of four had a crew of five, ensuring complete safety. The captain and crew worked tirelessly to help us track whale sharks in various areas of the water. Ultimately, we had a miraculous encounter with these majestic marine creatures, face to face. It was an unforgettable experience. Snorkeling on the island can be booked in advance with the butler, and there's a dedicated escort to ensure the safety of the children. We swam quite far from shore, and the two children were so excited that they couldn't swim for the second half, so the staff practically pulled them back. We were so grateful. We tried all the restaurants on the island, and the food was delicious—none disappointing. The breakfast buffet and the Chinese restaurant were average, by comparison. The island spa was a lifesaver. After a day of sunbathing, we went for a full-body treatment. My two daughters and I didn't get any sunburn or tans. Their newly introduced MARGY'S products, especially the face masks, are amazing. My skin instantly looked better than before, and they're even suitable for children.

All room types are good. Since I chose a water house, the butler gave me a free experience of a sand house for the afternoon on the last day. The experience was particularly good. The underwater restaurant is also worth experiencing. It has everything you need. I was very satisfied with the stay

The scenery is definitely beautiful. You can always live in the beautiful scenery and the bottomless sea is within your reach. The hotel is also big enough and there are many restaurant options. The room is not small, but there is only one bathroom. It would be perfect if there were two. What I am not satisfied with is the service. I can't feel the butler service at all. I don't know if we lack the understanding of the standard of service. They neither introduce the hotel facilities nor take us to visit. They were late for the pick-up time at the agreed meal time twice, making us wait for 30 minutes with an empty stomach, and they lied that they had arrived a long time ago. It's a pity that I tipped 50 US dollars. Just for this service, I will not stay in Conrad again, and I will not choose any Conrad easily. If you have requirements for service, choose carefully.
