Holiday Inn Express & Suites REIMS - RIVES DE VESLE by IHG

When we checked in, the extra bed for my child was already prepared. Free parking is available right outside the hotel, though the front desk does warn about the risk of a parking ticket. However, everyone parks there, and since it was a public holiday, we did too, successfully saving over 20 euros. The room has basic tableware, and the microwave and oven are a single unit, which is handy for making simple meals. But Reims has so much delicious food! You absolutely have to go to "Mala" for their beef noodles – they're amazing! The hotel's location is decent, just be careful not to take a wrong turn at the roundabout. There's a huge Carrefour within a 10-minute drive, a must-visit for anyone with a car – it's a great place for shopping. Breakfast was good, with warm bread. Our room was cleaned daily during our three-day stay. Overall, I think it's a good place.

The room was quite spacious and included a mini-kitchen, though it only had a microwave oven and no cooking utensils. Breakfast was served at the rooftop restaurant, which had an outdoor dining area with a great view. However, the food was the same every day, with the only hot options being baked eggs, baked beans, and sausages. There was no drinking water in the room, but each floor had a water dispenser where you could fill up. Parking was available on the street outside the hotel.

This place is quite convenient, the views are nice, and there are plenty of affordable food options in the city. Plus, the champagne is good and not expensive.

No slippers provided, but otherwise it was fine.
