Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore

Very satisfied. It's quiet and clean, and the location is super convenient for getting around. The only thing is it was hard to find at first; I'd suggest optimizing the Google Maps location. It's actually right across from Exit B of the subway station.

Terrible service. There wasn't even bottled water in the room. They charged extra for luggage storage, even if you had a booking for the following week, based on the number of items and storage duration. The soundproofing in the room was also mediocre, and breakfast was awful. It's not as good as the Ji Hotel across the street.

The biggest issue with this room is that they put four throw pillows in an already small space. There was nowhere to put them, and every part of my skin that touched the bed area got irritated. If you have allergies, do not book this hotel! It's truly baffling; other large hotels don't put four throw pillows. I don't know if they had nowhere else to put them or what they were thinking. The pillowcases aren't washed, which makes it really easy to get allergies. It's 2026, and they're still putting reusable throw pillows on beds – what are they even thinking?

The biggest regret of my Singapore trip was choosing Citadines. The location might be decent, but the service, hygiene, and attitude were a complete disaster. 🧹 **Room hygiene was concerning, details were unbearable.** On the night of check-in, I found a slipper left in the room, presumably by the previous guest. The tissue box in the bathroom was also empty after pulling out just two tissues. This reflects a lack of thorough cleaning and inattentive stocking of amenities. It made us wonder if the room was truly cleaned properly after the last guest checked out? 📞 **Poor service attitude, low professionalism.** The male staff member at the front desk had a terrible attitude. When I reported the hygiene issues, there was no apology whatsoever; he merely stated that someone would be contacted to remove the slipper from the room. As it was already past 11 PM, after our strong demand for a room change, they agreed to move us to another room. When we called to ask when we could move to the new room after packing our belongings in the original room, the call was directly hung up (they later explained it was a 'net drop'?). Although we were eventually upgraded to a corner room, the sliding door to the bathroom was also broken. 😬 🏠 **Small room, average decor.** The room was small and stuffy. While I understand that space is a premium in Singapore, I saw on Xiaohongshu and Tripadvisor that this hotel was renovated in 2022 and had new facilities. I strongly disagree; for this trip, I spent 1165 on a deluxe king room. Now, I would rather spend a few hundred more to choose Pullman, Voco, or Standard. 💔 **Summary: It really soured the mood of my trip, I will never come back.** The location is Citadines' only advantage (within walking distance of Fort Canning Park, Killiney Kopitiam, and Pop Mart), but that is far from enough to compensate for the shortcomings in service, hygiene, and facilities. This was the worst accommodation experience of my Singapore trip; I strongly advise avoiding it.

The loft room was perfect for a family of three with an older child! Loft 2 had a sofa bed on the second floor, which was a bit short – my 160cm tall feet just reached the edge. The swivel chair was also on the second floor, so on the first floor, you could only sit on the bed. However, the floor space was huge! We could fully open a 28-inch and a 20-inch suitcase without obstructing movement, which is incredibly practical in space-constrained Singapore! The loft was far from the elevator, so it was very quiet, and the air conditioning didn't blow directly on us. The bathroom water temperature was stable, and they provided conditioner and hand soap. The room amenities were also excellent, with a power outlet and a USB port on both the first floor and the loft that could directly accommodate Chinese plugs. The desk lamp in the loft even had a phone back-charging function – so convenient! There was a mini-fridge with free drinks and snacks replenished daily, and complimentary ice cream in the lobby from 3-6 PM. The front desk service was prompt, and there were Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk and in the restaurant during the day. The hotel's location is superb! It's only about a 300-meter walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, which is an interchange for three lines, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the attractions! In particular, Fort Canning Tree Tunnel is just a 10-minute walk away, so you can go early to avoid crowds and take photos at your leisure. Exit F of the MRT station leads to a large shopping mall with POPMART, Daiso, anime stores, many restaurants, and a local affordable supermarket, making dining and shopping very convenient. Citadines added wonderful memories to our 5-day Singapore trip! Highly recommended!!!

For a 1500-yuan room, no breakfast is provided. The room is tiny, so small that once you open your suitcase, there's no space to walk. The bed is also ridiculously small. The value for money is just too low. I do not recommend this place.
