Toy Story Hotel

From check-in to checkout, the entire experience was clearly explained, and overall, this hotel offers decent value for money, especially for families with kids. However, the breakfast definitely needs improvement. For a price of over 200 per person, the Chinese food options were a bit bland and heavy on the coloring. Hopefully, they can make some changes in the future. The shuttle service to the park was excellent. For a trip to Shanghai to experience Disney, the Toy Story Hotel is generally okay. I really hope they can offer a wider variety for breakfast, and also for their fast food and simple meal options, as the current selection is quite limited. My family, including my parents and children, were quite satisfied. The hotel's complimentary souvenirs were adorable – a Toy Story-themed towel, luggage tag, slippers, and pillowcase.

This time, my experience was much better than last! The room had no strange smells, and the overall cleanliness was great. Even though it was still quite crowded this time (probably due to the summer holiday), everything was well-organized. Check-in was smooth, and I managed to catch the shuttle bus downstairs at 7:25 AM, though it didn't drop us off until around 7:40 AM after waiting a bit for it to depart. Still, pretty good! **Environment:** Excellent! **Round-trip shuttle bus from hotel to Disneytown:** We only left at 7:25 AM (because we were really pushing it with time, it was already quite late!). After waiting a bit, we were dropped off at the entrance at 7:40 AM. I recommend heading straight for TRON Lightcycle Power Run first – it's my favorite! However, when we got there, we already had to queue for half an hour, so if you can wake up earlier, definitely do so! **Early Park Entry (up to 1 hour before opening):** It was useful! We only rode TRON Lightcycle Power Run, which was great. But I managed to get a lot of photos with no other guests! Also, while walking from Tomorrowland towards Toy Story Land, we happened to catch Mickey and Minnie doing their thing before the park even opened. It only took 8-10 minutes to queue, which I wasn't thrilled about. But the staff told me, 'Oh my goodness, you have no idea, it usually takes two hours to queue for this!' So we waited for a bit and got to interact with them! Satisfied!

Five stars for the Toy Story Hotel! My stay exceeded expectations. The most practical perk was the early access pass, letting us enjoy popular attractions an hour before the crowds. The hotel's atmosphere is fantastic, with Woody and Buzz Lightyear decorations everywhere – my child absolutely loved it. The luggage storage service was incredibly thoughtful; we could drop off our bags and head straight to the park without waiting to check in, then return in the evening to complete the process. The shuttle buses run frequently, making it super convenient to get to and from the park. The room was neat and clean, though my only minor complaint is that it was a bit small. Overall, the value for money is great, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next Disney trip.

The room was decent, but not as impressive as I'd hoped. The staff, however, were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, with someone at every station, greeting guests warmly. That's definitely worth praising! Some of the prices were a bit steep, making the overall value for money just average. For instance, the extra 299 for two adults and one child didn't really add much, and breakfast still had to be purchased separately. The parking lot lacked covered spaces, and the four EV charging spots were occupied by gasoline cars with no guidance or management, failing to meet actual demand.

This was my fourth stay, and this time I was assigned the very last room, furthest from the elevator, which was quite a trek. I bought an Alien (from Toy Story) claw machine toy at the park, but when I opened it at the hotel that night, it was broken and couldn't be played with. Since the Strawberry Bear store in the lobby also had the same toy, I wanted to exchange it directly at the hotel. However, they wouldn't allow it, insisting I had to go back to the park. After a tiring day, I had to take the shuttle back to the park just to get it exchanged.

The service after check-in was, as always, excellent. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and welcoming.👍 This isn't my first time staying here, but the booking process for this particular stay wasn't smooth. The workflow was slow, and I didn't get timely responses. This stay was a date change for an earlier booking because my child had a last-minute exam. Even though the rescheduled booking has been completed, the cancellation and refund process for the original booking hasn't been finalized yet. The hotel booking department said it would take another 30 to 60 days because it's a Disney company. Couldn't this process be optimized or upgraded?

The room isn't huge, just a standard twin, but the overall experience and vibe more than make up for it. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. The shuttle bus to Disneytown is super convenient; it's scheduled every 10 minutes, but often leaves even sooner! Really fast and easy. The early park access benefit (up to 1 hour before opening) is a game-changer. We managed to hit 3 major rides! The hotel provided up to 4 passes. At 200 per pass, it really made the hotel price feel like a good deal.

The hotel facilities are outdated, and the slippers are barely better than paper. The buffet's taste and variety are incredibly disappointing; they call it a buffet, but there are aunties serving you like in a school cafeteria, even shaking off food from the spoon. The kids' play area is also just mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.
