We were pleasantly surprised & impressed by the spacious hotel room & facilities. Hotel staff were prompt & courteous. Just by the river, close to eateries. It was fun discovering the upgraded Melaka town! Managed to see the spectacular Encore Melaka (Legacy of a Generation). Makan at Charlie's Kueh2 Cafe, famous yong tau fu for supper, etc (see fotos attached). Will defintely come back to 1825 in my next Melaka escapade!

The location is truly strategic. It's right in the heart of Bandar Hilir, and walking along the Melaka River is just a short distance behind. There are also many delicious eateries next door and in front, so it's definitely worth it. The room was comfortable. This is the only hotel I've stayed at that actually provides conditioner! I was so impressed. The hotel has a Bali vibe – very beautiful and peaceful. The only scary part was the parking 😅, it was really narrow. I hope the hotel management finds more suitable parking for guests, because I will definitely be staying here again for my next vacation 🫣

The stay was great, and the room package including breakfast was excellent value for money. I rented a scooter near the hotel for RM40/day and used it for two days to explore more of the area. The hotel is conveniently located right by the Strait of Malacca, with plenty of food options nearby. They also offer free parking, including dedicated motorcycle spots right at the entrance. Across the street, there's a wholesale shop, so you're sure to come away with lots of goodies when visiting Malacca.

The hotel is so beautiful and antique, the view is nice. The location is strategic, closer to a lot of cafes and restaurants. Really enjoyed the experience there. Hope can visit again soon

Nice place, walking distance to jonker street. A lot of eateries around. If you’re driving they have limited parking space behind the alley.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our time here. There are just a few small suggestions for improvement. The room does not have a refrigerator, which can be inconvenient for families traveling with young children, as we need a place to store snacks, milk, or baby food. There were also quite a few mosquitoes around the property, so bringing insect repellent is a good idea. Lastly, it would be helpful if the hotel could provide a laundry bag in the room. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would still recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great hospitality!

The first room provided although have window but window is facing the backyard of house. The view was not great. 2nd room view was better at least facing the road. Was hoping for room facing the river as paid higher price to have room with window but too bad
