The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the cathedral and close to major attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is affordable and delicious.

My daughter chose the hotel; I trust young people's taste. It's very unique and highly recommended. It was one of the most satisfying hotels I booked in Spain and Portugal through Ctrip this time. The view right outside the hotel is great.

The view room faces the church and is breathtakingly beautiful, both at night and in the morning. The hotel was very quiet, we slept very well, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room was very clean.

We originally booked a room for two adults, but we were actually bringing an extra child. After they saw that we had a child, they asked us to change it to a room for three people for an extra 50 euros. This didn't feel very humane, but it's understandable. The hotel is very close to the church and the University of Salamanca. Overall, it's a decent hotel, but parking isn't very convenient, especially for large vans, because there's a corner where it's easy to scratch the vehicle.

What I was most satisfied with was the hotel's breakfast; it was quite plentiful compared to other hotels on the trip. My absolute favorite was the fresh orange juicer, which allowed me to make my own orange juice – I drank several glasses! The hotel has a parking lot; you need to ring a bell at the entrance and give your booking number for verification before entering. The room size is acceptable, but you need to stand on the bathtub to shower. There are heated towel racks, but they only heat up in the morning and evening. The bathroom is large and has double sinks. The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean and comfortable. Salamanca's old town is quite large and worth a full day of leisurely exploration. The hotel is located behind the cathedral; turning right downhill and following the road leads to the Roman Bridge. There are several Chinese restaurants in the town, one of which caters specifically to tour groups. The owner was curious that we had driven to the city, explaining that it's usually used by tour groups as a transit point between Spain and Portugal.

Everything was fine, but for a tiny bottle of water, since there was no room rate, they charged me €1.60. Clearly, that's outrageous.
