Excellent! The service was top-notch. I took a few photos of the breakfast desserts – they were delicious and plentiful. They even had passion fruit among the fruit selection. It really feels like staying at established hotel brands is the way to go; the moment you walk in, it's so comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. Every penny of the room rate felt worth it. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou. The bed was huge! Easily big enough for three people.

The room was spacious with a great view from the window. Service was prompt, and anything I needed was delivered to the room right away. It was also convenient for dining out or ordering takeout to the room. Plus, the lion dance performance on the morning of the first day of the ***** New Year was spectacular and really brought in the festive atmosphere!

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the Heavenly Bed was so soft that I had a great night's sleep. We got a free upgrade to a high-floor river view room, which offered expansive and beautiful scenery. Breakfast was included, with a wide variety of delicious options – the rice noodle rolls were particularly good. Housekeeping was very responsive and attentive to all requests. Parking was free, and the hotel was conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the subway station.

It was just okay, nothing special. Even though it's a five-star hotel, it felt more like a facade. They seem to treat guests differently depending on who they are. I only booked it because it was close to the marathon bib pickup. I was quite disappointed the moment I walked in; it lacked any 'wow' factor. The floors had scratches, and the room certainly didn't look like it cost over a thousand yuan. Oh, and they charged a 500 deposit – do hotels still ask for such high deposits these days? All the drinks in the mini-fridge were chargeable, and breakfast was over 200 per person, which also felt pretty average. They kept clearing plates while people were still eating, and with such sour faces – who are they trying to impress? And this is a five-star? The pillow gave me a stiff neck; my cervical spine was so uncomfortable. Is this the quality of bedding you get at a five-star? The curtains were yellowed, and the facilities felt old. I'll compare it with the next place I booked! They wouldn't even let food deliveries come up to the room, so my partner had to go down multiple times to get them. When checking out, the front desk staff weren't very friendly either, no smiles. Only the person who checked us in was alright, they gave us bath bags and bath salts. The curtains weren't smart either, not even comparable to some four-star hotels. That's about it; I won't be returning a second time!

I arrived at the hotel late at night, and Simon, the duty manager, upgraded me to a large suite – my stay was instantly elevated! The lobby is also grand, showing no signs of age at all. The next day, due to a change in my itinerary, they also offered me a late check-out. Compared to nearby hotels, the service and value for money here are absolutely top-notch.

It's very convenient for charging devices. The room is spacious and well-designed. Room service also responds very promptly.
