Aqua Blue Hotel

we had three different rooms and they were all nice on the third floor with some views of the ocean:) Great location... shops and really good restaurants within walking distance.

This property has a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was nice and the sitting area overlooking the ocean was a nice extra.

Property in disrepair in many regards from front doors to guest room furniture, peeling paint, difficult to operate deadbolts on room doors that open onto shared balcony, safes broken. In need of deep clean. Staff was friendly, except one who made inappropriate unprofessional comments. Bedding was nice and clean, except we were missing comforters. Staff gave us fresh clean ones when we asked. Nice location.

I am torn by this review. The location is awesome. The hotel is not good. Needs painting, a deep cleaning. We had several issues with the toilet during our stay. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Room is fine and staff is courteous but it’s an Oceanside spot so it’s not ahi end spot. It’s location and convenience so get in and get out. Bare bones

This hotel is the worst we have stayed in. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before I booked. It needs so much work. Our television did not work. The front desk women was kind and tried to fix it to no avail. They did offer us the room next door but by that time, we had already unpacked and put our belongings away.It was Christmas Day so we knew that no one would be able to fix it but for the next couple of days, it still was not fixed. The bedside lamp did not work. We did mention it to front desk but was never fixed. The door under sink (where trashcan was stored) did not close. My husband turned the faucet on and BLACK water came out. It had not been used in awhile , apparently. We asked if there was a restaurant and they said that it was being overhauled. No coffee in lobby. It was so strange that we were the only guests at the hotel, only car in parking lot! We ended up leaving and staying at a family member’s home. So disappointed. It was like they were going to be going out of business and obviously did not care about any part of the hotel!

The location is excellent! Staff is really good and welcoming. But the condition of room was not great. We had booked an ADA room for a person in wheelchair. In the bathroom the space between the toilet and wall was so narrow that the shower could bot even be reached. The sink was high almost at face level making it almost not usable. Overall the condition of the hotel and its amenities seem to be in desparate need of some long due maintenence.

The location is amazing, the room very clean. We loved that there was hot coffee in the Lobby this morning. We regretted the old carpeting in the hallways, and imagine this will be updated soon!
