Bluewater Panglao Resort

The only complaint is the restaurant has flies, but everything else is nice.

I had a wonderful stay at Bluewater Panglao Resort. It’s a busy, well-run commercial resort with beautiful, new rooms that are spotless and cleaned daily. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the bathrooms are spacious, with both a shower and a bath. The rooms are also impressively soundproof, making it easy to relax. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, setting a great tone for the stay. There are two large, beautiful pools and a private beach. Although the beach is a little rocky, you can spot some small sea life, which is lovely. The breakfast and lunch menus are excellent, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and professional. It’s just a short scooter ride to Alona Beach, yet the hotel itself is peaceful and away from the busy tourist area. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Our room was by the pool and because the weather was humid, it made it difficult for me to breathe. We asked for another room but the only available room they can give us was in the 2nd floor, above the room we were staying. Not much difference from the 1st room but slightly better. Breakfast at their restaurant was lovely especially with the beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately, we are not able to walk to the beach.

Spacious room with great bathroom, though we found dead insects and struggled with the sliding door lock. The biggest letdown was the beach—rocky and unsuitable for swimming. The pool was nicer. Breakfast was disappointing with limited, stale choices, though the à la carte lunch was decent. Friendly staff were a highlight, but the resort needs better maintenance and food quality to match its potential.

My experience at Panglao Bluewater was absolutely exceptional. The resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury, nature, and warm Filipino hospitality. The staff went above and beyond from the moment I arrived—always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and serene views that made it easy to relax. I especially loved the lagoon-style pool and lush garden surroundings—it genuinely felt like a tropical sanctuary. The food at the restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Breakfast options were plentiful, and dining by the water added such a peaceful touch to each day. Whether you're looking to unwind, enjoy quality time with loved ones, or explore Panglao’s stunning beaches and attractions, Panglao Bluewater is the perfect place. I left feeling refreshed and already excited to return. Highly recommended!

Large and comfortable rooms. Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff. A bit overpriced restaurant.
