Residence Inn Southington

We had a queen bed with a sofa pullout. The queen bed was uncomfortable & more like a full. The sofa bed appeared to be broken & we could not sleep on it. 2 of us got no sleep due to the sofa bed. Our phone in the room was also not working when we tried to contact the front desk. Very nice staff, but room was horrible.

Areas were generally clean. Rooms are well worn with some feeling wallpaper, torn couches, chipped vanities, etc... Nothing that was consequential - just needs updating.

The pictures do not do the suite justice. The room was neat, clean, and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Check-in/out was effortless while staff were attentive and helpful.

This property was wonderful, very clean, comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, even when we checked in very late at night. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Staff that helped with breakfast was also pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking. Btw, they have small basketball area outside, which my son loved. Overall, great experience.

Everything was wonderful but need to replace the sofa bed very uncomfortable to sleep but other than that I’m satisfied

Excellent place to stay. Clean and beautiful rooms. Good breakfast. Its our favorite place to stsy when traveling to Connecticut.

They were nice and clean rooms just the setup is not good if ur sitting on couch u. A watch tv from bed it’s one or other they should reorganize the rooms or at least for the price they charge they could get bigger tv . It’s a non smoking property and I would go outside to smoke and I would see the the housekeeping women out there all the time smoking and they said I smoked in the room and never did I asked to show me proof and couldn’t so I don’t think it was fair that I obeyed by the rules and after I checked out like 2 hrs later I get a email saying I smoked in room and never ever did so I didn’t think the way they handled the situation was polite nor professional one other thing I didn’t care if I only smoked half a cigarette I’d throw the rest of it away cause once they are burnt they stink and I’d see the housekeeping always smoke a few puffs put it out and put in their pocket so if anyone smelt like smoke it would of been them ….

Hefty charges for pets, other hotels are much more fair. A very good breakfast, but overall the rooms are dated, a bit small, and somewhat overused. I have seen many actually LIVING here, long term.
