Ban Sainai Resort

Located down a small alley off Ao Nang's main street, the hotel is considerably quieter than places right on the bustling strip. We felt very safe, and there are even a few shops lining the alley. Although it's a bit of a walk to Ao Nang Beach, the hotel offers a complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service, with the schedule readily available. The resort has a limited number of rooms, and its natural environment is fantastic, with lizards, squirrels, and geckos roaming around. Don't worry, I asked – no snakes! The front desk also provides a shuttle service for pick-ups and drop-offs directly at your room within the resort. We originally booked a Coconut Hut, but after communicating by email in advance, we were upgraded to a Lake View Bungalow upon check-in. I absolutely loved the small hammock on the balcony! Breakfast by the lake was incredibly pleasant. It was a buffet with complimentary à la carte options like roti, pancakes, and shakshuka. They even surprised us with a small cake! The resort's swimming pool was also very relaxing, with a bar nearby where you can order snacks and drinks to enjoy on the sun loungers. Service: Every staff member was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient, handled with great patience. We would definitely choose this place again on our next visit!
