Hotel Føroyar

This hotel is supposedly one of the best in the Faroe Islands, but it's built like an endless maze of corridors. Walking from the reception to the room takes about ten minutes. I didn't measure it, but it honestly feels like 300 to 400 meters. The hotel just keeps expanding with new wings, and instead of feeling like a luxury hotel, it feels more like an airport terminal. Getting a table at the hotel's restaurant was impossible because the hotel was fully booked. The rooms are small, yet they charge around €450 per night, and they're simply not worth it. The pillows deserve a special mention. They barely qualify as pillows. They feel like lumps of cotton with no support at all. If you're charging €450 a night, at least spend €50 on a proper pillow. The only thing I genuinely liked was the gym. It was actually good.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Torshavn with great views over the capital. Wonderful hot and cold breakfast though the restaurant got busy at times. The bedroom was a generous size and there was little noise from other hotel guests.

Hotel is at a prime location. Great breakfast with variety of selection.

Good breakfast, nice hote

Hotel placed in the Torshavn's hill, in 15 minute-walk to the city centre. Helpful and kind staff, fast check-in (online) and room clean and with a beautiful view. Breakfast rich with hot and cold foods. Wi-fi in all the hotel.

It's always the best experience

Good breakfast spread, gym is awesome. The room is a little small with not much of a view. Service could be warmer and more passionate.
