Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan

A perfect experience! The exterior and interior design of the building are both stunning – a dark, glamorous, and luxurious feel. The breakfast buffet, though not extensive, was beautifully presented and delicious. The à la carte dishes were unexpectedly tasty. The pool has a great design, and there were plenty of lifeguards. The staff were very proactive and attentive. The TV supports screen casting, and the surrounding area is lovely. I woke up early and took a stroll along the riverside park downstairs, which made me wish I could live here permanently.

Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Qiantan was truly delightful, especially the dinner included in our room package – the chef's culinary skills were outstanding! The restaurant service was also very pleasant. The hotel's surroundings offer a great opportunity for a city walk, allowing us to avoid the holiday crowds of the Bund. Looking out from our balcony at the familiar West Bund scenery after dark, with its dazzling lights and boats passing by, was incredibly serene and thought-provoking. The room amenities were excellent; the coffee machine added a nice touch to our afternoons, and I particularly appreciated the decaf capsules. A special thanks to our dedicated concierge, Ever, for the thoughtful and meticulous arrangements made in advance, which made our anniversary trip truly memorable. Every staff member we encountered was warm and smiling – thank you all so much!

During the National Day holiday, my family and I checked into the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan and stayed in a luxury river view room. The room's view was absolutely stunning, and the hotel's decor details were incredibly exquisite. From the furnishings to the table lamps and greenery, every step revealed a beautiful sight, showcasing the epitome of old-money luxury. The semi-buffet brunch at the Western restaurant was excellent, both in terms of ingredients and taste. The service was warm and attentive – highly recommend!

An absolute 10/10 stay at the Waldorf Astoria Qiantan! You can feel the exquisite service etiquette of a luxury hotel in every little detail. The Art Deco design in the lobby is grand and elegant, the signature fragrance is soothing and pleasant, and the public areas are extremely photogenic. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, the amenities were of great quality, and everything was fully equipped, adding a strong sense of occasion to the stay. Ever's professional yet warm service made the whole trip extra special and fulfilling. A top choice for a getaway in Shanghai, and I will definitely choose to stay at Qiantan again next time!

The hotel's location is superb, probably the best in Qianyao. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a scenic balcony offering panoramic views of the West Bund. Breakfast is fantastic and available until 3 PM. The hotel butlers, Eric and Ever, were also excellent and tried their best to accommodate guests' requests!

Located in the business district, the hotel has a very low-profile entrance and relatively small public areas. However, the rooms are spacious, starting at 50 square meters. Even the standard rooms feature balconies with views of the Huangpu River. The room facilities are comprehensive, the amenities are high-end, and the overall living comfort is exceptional. The hotel adopts an all-white aesthetic from inside out, making it very photogenic and stylish. Occupancy was quite high during the National Day holiday, with almost every room booked. Many of the guests were locals from Shanghai, and the main hotel staff were also Shanghainese—and as the saying goes, Shanghainese should speak the Shanghai dialect when they are in Shanghai. It is very convenient to walk to the riverside promenade for a stroll. While there aren't many dining options in the immediate surroundings, the popular internet-famous restaurant "Mrs. Crab" (蟹太太) is right at the doorstep.

Upon check-in, I received a thoughtful room tour. The service response was very quick, and all my requests were promptly addressed, with just the right amount of attentiveness. A special thank you to Eric, who surprised me with a sea salt gift set at checkout, which left a lasting impression. The Waldorf Astoria's breakfast, as always, maintained a high standard; the quality, taste, and service were all exceptional, making it a highlight of my stay. Overall, it was a luxurious and comfortable experience; the facilities, service, and dining were all excellent. It's perfect for both a leisurely short stay or a quick stopover, and I would definitely visit again.

An incredibly delightful experience! The hotel is brand new with a very opulent style, and every detail is perfect. The views are beautiful both day and night, and the pool is very comfortable, making it ideal for a staycation. Our dedicated concierge, Ever, was meticulous and thoughtful, proactively offering a lot of help and responding to our needs promptly, which significantly enhanced our overall stay. We were short on time this visit and couldn't check out the bar and restaurant, but we'll definitely be back to fully enjoy them on our next trip to Shanghai!
