Book the trip. Jade mountain was nothing short of exceptional. We recently returned from our honeymoon and wish we stayed longer. The attention to detail is unmatched. The rooms (and views) are spectacular. The open concept is insane. The service was world class. The food was the best meal over and over.

Treated like royalty by everyone as soon as they know where you are staying - the name carries quite some prestige. In fairness everyone we encountered was superb - Gina the security guard sticks in mind - having been on St Lucia for 3 weeks before arrive at Jade in our rental car (note, the road up to Anse Chastanet and Jade is the worst we drove in in our whole time on the island, and we went on many roads that rival Yorkshires potholes) and she just got us sorted and our butler and shuttle appeared quick sharp. We had arrived at midday so well ahead of the normal check in of 3pm. As expected our room was not yet ready but we could drop our bags & head to the beach to use all of the facilities having been issued with a Jade mobile for our butler Al to call when our room was available. The room - sorry sanctuary- is a massive wow. We have a star sanctuary with a pool and it is an experience worth the considerable cost. Service is exemplary, food excellent, superb team in every department who are all happy & friendly- make the stay truly unforgettable and a great way to end our break.

I feel rather mean by not giving 5 stars, but I think some other reviewers are just trying to justify the price. The hotel is stunning and there are so many nice little touches they are probably too numerous to list: long story short, they really look after you. The rooms and views are stunning, the food is excellent. So, why not 5 stars? The rooms are open to the elements which gives you a great feel for the nature - you are unlikely to experience this anywhere else. It meant that the room temperature didn't drop below 26C overnight which made sleeping a little uncomfortable (there's no AC). Also the rooms are open to mosquitos, birds and bats, all of which joined us. That didn't bother me too much, but it's something to bear in mind. Our room on the JF level was 10 flights of stairs (140 steps) below the Jade restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner - there's no lift/elevator. Again, this wasn't a problem for us, but something to bear in mind. The food in the Jade restaurant was really excellent but the service was spotty. When we arrived at 2.30pm our room wasn't ready so we were invited to eat. We ordered starters only which took 30 mins to arrive even thought the restaurant was pretty empty (most people were at the beach). Water is always placed on the table out of reach of the customer but the service is not frequent enough to top up the glasses. Restaurant service was actually much more friendly and experienced down at the beach. We sat in the bar one evening for at least 20 mins before anyone offered service. Our room didn't have a pool and there isn't really a swimming pool for general use. Since the rooms have no AC you can end up feeling rather hot. The previous hotel we stayed at on the island had a huge pool and also a great gym. The gym at Jade mountain is basically an empty room with a single running machine. The massage we had at the spa on the other hand was the best ever - that's the conundrum of Jade mountain. Another thing that didn't sit well was the amount of paperwork and upselling that we had to deal with on arrival. Having spend several thousand per night I didn't really want to be told about all sorts of this and that for a few hundred dollars more, felt kind of cheap. Similarly trying to untangle the menus of what was included and not included did not encourage the relaxation I was looking for: it's all just too complicated for no good reason. Wandering down to the beach where there were various little sail boats, kayaks, snorkelling gear etc to use as you wish was just perfect. Overall Jade Mountain is stunning and there are so many positives, many more than I've mentioned, that less than 5 stars seems harsh. But it's very expensive and so it should be very good.

This was not only the best place we could have spent our honeymoon, but was the nicest resort and staff we have ever experienced. Let me start by saying that every staff member was so kind and always had smiles on their faces. Nage, Junior, Ned, Jamal, Sherton, Levi, Theo, Ronnie, we cannot thank you all enough for making this the most magical and unforgettable time possible! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you step on the property, to the sanctuary (rooms), to the restaurant, everything was so amazing and clean. The location of the resort itself is extremely private and quiet. We got a couples massage every day we were there which was amazing. We loved our private pool and all the amenities in our sanctuary. Definitely worth every penny! We can’t wait to come back and see everyone soon!

Unbelievable place to have experienced. The style of the hotel is visually stunning. The architecture is incredibly unique and the views - well, I’ve never seen anything like it. We stayed in a Star Sanctuary just for 2 nights as part of a bigger holiday at Anse Chastanet and it really was sensational. The completely open to the air room with the most spectacular view of the pitons was so special, and to enjoy it from your own in-room pool?! We’ve peaked! Yoga on the rooftop in the mornings was a wonderful start to the day. Beautiful 360 views and wonderful instructor to talk you through everything and take it at your own pace. The staff - goodness me I’ve never known anything life it. In both Anse and Jade, it blows my mind how they remember not only your names/rooms etc, but also remember the activities you are doing that day and ask you about it when they pass you, even if you didn’t tell that person specifically. The joyfulness of the general demeanour of everyone is catching and I can’t understand what anyone would ever have to complain about. Tetclus was our majordomo and he was amazing. Booked dinner for us before we had checked in without us having even thought about it, always had wonderful suggestions and was just lovely in every way. My husband and I would consider ourselves foodies and will always seek out interesting, local, tasty food when we visit places. Well, again we were blown away by the quality and the flavours (particularly the sauces here are amazing) of the food. We both had the steak offerings at one point and it was cooked to perfection as per what we had asked for. The seafood options are divine and every single dessert is heavenly. You are encouraged to take your time with meals, and just to soak in the view and calmness of it all. On one of the mornings we opted to have breakfast in our room, just to enjoy it whilst we were there, and we loved every second. The cost is insane and we went in knowing that this was likely “once in a lifetime” for us but we would do it again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny,

If there was heaven on earth, Jade Mountain is it. I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful, exclusive luxury resort. I worked with a concierge, specifically Guest Services Manager Noemi Deroulou and her team, from booking detailed, thoughtful excursions and a full itinerary for my family. Every day was a dream, and each Galaxy room with incredible views of the Piton mountains and ocean, among our own large infinity pool, is nothing like any of us has ever experienced. Our major domos (butlers) were very attentive, and the amazing fresh food/service each time were just exceptional. I highly recommend Jade Mountain resort, as we would love to return to finish the few excursions we didn't try, but we know it'll be just as magical as this epic trip.

A Long Overdue Review — and Worth Every Word I’m late writing this review, but I’m so glad I’m finally getting around to it. Jade Mountain is, without question, the best hotel experience I have ever had. Hands down. We visited in October 2021, at the tail end of the pandemic — back when we were still testing before flights and wearing masks. While the process of getting there was daunting, the moment we stepped onto the island and were whisked away on a seven-minute helicopter ride to Anse Chastanet, greeted with a sweet, fruity cocktail, my friend and I both knew we were in for something extraordinary. BEFORE BOOKING My friend had married in 2020 but never had the chance to properly celebrate, so I reached out to Anse Chastanet (Jade’s sister resort) to see if I could surprise her with a room upgrade that included a pool. The team there went above and beyond: while the only pool suite at Anse was already booked, they graciously upgraded us to Jade Mountain with a Sky Sanctuary suite. Although the Sky Sanctuary doesn’t include a private pool, the staff made sure our experience was even more special. They arranged a private swim and drinks session at the Jade Mountain Club infinity pool, located at the top of the resort’s main restaurant. My friend was floored — she had never experienced anything like it. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our Major Domo (butler), who walked us through every detail of the room and ensured we felt completely at home. THE ROOM At first, I wasn’t sure about the idea of an open-air room — but once you see that view, you wouldn’t want a wall blocking it either. Our suite was divided into four elegant areas: an entryway and small seating area, bedroom, bathroom, and living space. Everything was spacious, serene, and beautifully designed. Each day, we received a Bento box of special treats, an iPad to browse menus and book spa treatments, and a dedicated phone to reach our Major Domo anytime. He kept us effortlessly on schedule — confirming dinner reservations, arranging excursions, and coordinating rides up and down the hill between Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet Beach (perfect for when we didn’t feel like walking). The room even came with tote bags for beach days — a thoughtful touch. EXCURSIONS We made the most of our stay, enjoying: A full-day sail with Captain Kerwin A Lionfish Tasting Dinner with wine pairing A Botanical Garden Tour Rum Tasting A Volcano Tour And some incredible snorkeling Each experience was seamlessly arranged and worth every minute. THE FOOD Every meal was outstanding. You have so many dining options, and it’s worth planning ahead since some experiences are available only on specific days or times. The Jade Mountain Club is reservation-only and exclusive to Jade guests — a must. Do note that certain premium proteins have a small upcharge even with the all-inclusive plan, but honestly, who flies to Saint Lucia for steak? Stick to the seafood, and you’ll be in heaven. We visited St Lucia for our 20th anniversary and stayed at Jade Mountain. It was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. It was the most amazing vacation that we have ever had. From the outstanding service, to the breathtaking views, to the 5 star dining, to the unforgettable experiences. We enjoyed every minute and are counting down the days until we go back. There is so much to say about the resort and everything that we did. I will give you the highlights and you will have to make sure you go and visit. With our arrival we booked a helicopter transfer to the resort. It was a 6 or 7 minute ride but it gave us a nice overview of the island. It was cool to see the resort from the air and to arrive in style. Just make sure you pack a change of clothes as your luggage will not arrive until much later. We booked the total romance package and were in a Sun sanctuary. The views from our room were stunning. The huge room with an infinity pool was more than we needed. You never need to leave the room but there is so much more to do. We were greeted and shown to our room by our major dommo. They are available 24 hrs a day and will help with anything that you need. The food was some of the freshest and flavorful we have ever had. The Jade Club had so many options and an ever changing menu. The fresh seafood was a must. We had to try everything. We started every day with room service breakfast in our room. One add on dinner we did was the lion fish dinner. This is highly recommended. We did try the Treehouse and Trou au Diable Beach Restaurant for dinner. They were good but did not compare to the Jade Club. We did so many excursions. Snorkeling, sailing, our first experience scuba diving, yoga, mountain biking, a sunset cruise, a couples massage, a tour of the plantation, a nature hike, tour of the sulfur springs and botanical garden and a tour of the resorts emerald game where the grow so much food for the resort. They were all fun and all were included in our total romance package except the sunset cruise. There are two beaches at the sister resort Anse Chastenet. They are great beaches with amazing snorkeling. It is a hike down many flights of stairs but was worth it. The staff as amazing at the resort. Many of them were locals from the town of Soufriere. They were so genuine and wanted to make sure we had the best time. I wanted to mention the staff that went above and beyond for us. Our major dommos were there did everything that we needed Vince and Ain. The plantation tour by Father Nature Meno. Our first scuba lesson and thanks for your patience Kennias. Sunrise yoga with Chanee, sailing with Kerwin, the Emerald Farms with Edwin and jungle biking with Bike Tyson. Our favorite servers for dinner were Madeline and Sherton. They were all so wonderful. The Troubetzkoy’s have created a slice of paradise on St Lucia. There were a couple of downsides. The resort has open air rooms. There are three walls and the other is open to a stunning
