Everything was great! The front desk staff spoke English and provided detailed information. The room was spacious and fully equipped, with a kitchen and refrigerator, giving it a feel of a small apartment. Towels could be changed daily, but housekeeping only occurred for stays of four nights or more. Many small details in the room were exceptionally well done. I have to commend the bed – there was no bedside table in the middle, and it was on wheels, making it movable. Since I was staying alone, I pushed the two beds together to create a super-large bed. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and I slept wonderfully! 👍👍 Location: It's across the street from the Kamo River, in a quiet area. There's a 24-hour supermarket about a seven-minute walk away, and ordering takeout was convenient, though there wasn't a convenience store within a ten-minute walk. View: The view directly from the room was lovely, and you could also go to the observation deck. In the morning, you could hear temple bells ringing in the distance at sunrise. Traffic Noise: It was quite noisy with the window open, but almost no noise once closed. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location right by the Kamo River is great, though popular attractions like Kiyomizu-dera Temple are about a 20-minute walk away. Rooms are cleaned daily, but the blackout curtains don't completely block out the light. In August, Kyoto gets bright by 5 AM, which made it a bit hard to sleep. There's an ice machine and a breakfast room on the first floor, offering Western-style breakfast options.
