The food menu is very expensive and small portions and there is nowhere else to eat other than within the resort itself. The resort is beautiful and the service is great. An expensive luxury night away.

Beautiful place, super serene and within nature. As good a relaxing trip as you can get. Staff were super on the ball and friendly. You really feel pampered like a VIP from the beginning.

This place is gorgeous! I booked a bungalow for my birthday, and they later upgraded it to a deluxe suite. The grounds are beautiful. The cabins are spotless. It's all natural, very peaceful. The restaurant has delicious food and cocktails. Breakfast is also amazing, and there's quite a large selection on the menu.

Arriving at the hotel at midnight, the walk was truly breathtaking, with its winding paths leading to secluded retreats. But waking up in the morning, I was stunned by the mountain mist, the chirping birds, and the fragrance of flowers. All the hotel amenities are meticulously crafted, with faucets and trash cans crafted from pure copper, perfect for a relaxing getaway or a quiet retreat.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Also the nature at the resort is very well maintained and all looks beautiful. The room could have been slightly more up to date and we missed a personal touch (for instance by putting some flowers and having a bit more light. Flowers are generally available at the resort so that would be a quick and easy thing to arrange for). Diner is very nice however they serve small portions and it is quite expensive compared to other hotels in Vietnam and downtown Hanoi. All in all we were very positive about the hotel and staff and it has been lovely to enjoy the nature and beautiful scenery at the resort.

We deeply enjoyed spending a few days away from the city at Amaya Retreat. The staff were wonderful, the pools (small and big) delightful and, more importantly, the surrounding pine forest and pathways through it most relaxing. We will go back !

Amaya Retreat Sóc Sơn is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm and escape from the busy city. The retreat is beautifully designed, blending perfectly with nature, and every detail feels thoughtful and intentional. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, ideal for unwinding and recharging. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the experience even more special. Waking up surrounded by greenery and enjoying the quiet was an absolute highlight. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy refined comfort, Amaya Retreat Sóc Sơn is an excellent choice. Highly recommended, and I would love to return.

Everything was wonderful, we came for our friend wedding but the service was on point and the staff was so helpful with our drunken friends 😂 the place was beautiful as they keep the natural environment so careful and clean. Had a joyful time there
