Great stay. The Baan Laimai is conveniently located, right in the heart of Patong. Whilst there’s a lot happening around with so much great nightlife, the room was facing poolside and so there was almost no notable noise at night.

When I tried to leave the hotel, I was accused of breaking a tiny part of the TV frame—a crack so small it was barely visible. I didn't do it, and then they demanded I pay the full price for the TV. When I refused, they threatened to call the police. I had a flight and another hotel booked, and to avoid missing my flight and being delayed, I felt obligated to pay, even though I hadn't broken it. In the end, I paid for the TV and gave it to the driver. Note: The hotel manager was completely uncooperative, even though I've been a regular guest there for years. I repeat, I didn't do it, and I'm a loyal customer of the hotel.
