Gulangyu Liuyue Sea View Holiday Hotel

Clean and tidy, very close to Sunlight Rock and Gangzaihou Beach. The owner was really friendly and gave us a free room upgrade. Before leaving the island, I wanted to explore a bit more, and the owner was very thoughtful in letting me store my luggage and pick it up later when I left.

A great hotel on Gulangyu Island! We made a last-minute decision to visit Xiamen this weekend, and this place was excellent value for money. The front desk even gave us a free upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. Definitely deserves a five-star review! It's also very close to all the popular attractions nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The hotel is just around the corner from Gangzaihou Beach, so it only takes 3 minutes to walk back to the room for a shower after an evening stroll on the sand. It's also only a 3-minute walk to the ticket office for Sunlight Rock, which is great for getting there early to catch the first wave of people ascending and avoid the crowds, allowing you to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire island. The front desk staff saw I was with a child and kindly upgraded our room, which instantly made our vacation feel much more relaxed.

After a barefoot stroll in the evening, it only takes 3 minutes to get back to the room for a shower – my wet slippers didn't even have a chance to get smelly! It's also only a 3-minute walk to the Sunlight Rock ticket office, which was perfect for getting there early and being among the first to climb to the top. 2. **Service was a pleasant surprise:** The front desk attendant proactively upgraded my room. Sitting on the rattan chair at night, enjoying the sea breeze and the lights of Xiamen Island across the water, truly brought the vacation vibes to the max. 3. **Details won me over:** The bedding was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and even the toiletries were excellent. Most importantly! This kind of hotel, where "the sea is right outside and the scenery is just a turn away," is truly worth every penny.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service. The hotel is located in the heart of Gulangyu Island, very close to the beach, snack street, Sunlight Rock, and other scenic spots, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.

Environment: The environment is beautiful, located in the center of the island, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. It's also very quiet! Service: The front desk lady was very nice. Since it wasn't peak season, she upgraded my room and even extended my check-out by two hours for free.
