True Siam Rangnam Hotel

The hotel is less than a kilometer from the Airport Rail Link and Green Line BTS, about a ten-minute walk. They offer a complimentary tuk-tuk service to the station on the hour, which was very convenient when leaving. The hotel building itself has a very traditional Thai style, which is quite unique and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are simply furnished but relatively spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Perhaps because it's located in an alley, it was very quiet at night. The shower only has a large rain showerhead, no handheld option. The breakfast is a simple buffet, which was sufficient for us, and it had slight variations daily. The food tasted good. One end of the alley leads to a main road with a Lawson convenience store, and the other end is a smaller alley with several 7-Elevens and some stalls where you can get stir-fried noodles and buy fruit. There's a small pool on the sixth floor. The water looked clean, and there's a shower nearby. They also provide free swimming rings, which is plenty for kids to enjoy.

The service was excellent! The hotel has a unique style, there are plenty of food options nearby, and transportation is quite convenient. Definitely worth a stay!

Facilities: Similar to a budget hotel in China, has everything you need. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Nice environment, traditional Thai style. The surroundings are lively and it's not far from anywhere. Service: Excellent service, the staff are very enthusiastic. Breakfast was delicious.

This was my second stay here. Last time, I chose it for its convenient location, and this time, I picked it again for a one-day layover in Bangkok with my parents. However, it seems like they might have chronic hygiene issues and dampness, as the room had a strong smell of bacteria and foot odor, especially near the damp headboard area. There was also a noticeable smell coming from outside, where sewer construction was happening, even with the windows closed.
