Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort

The location is the only good thing about Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort; apart from that, it has nothing else going for it. We were even assigned a room right next to the parking lot entrance, so opening the window meant getting blasted with car exhaust fumes. I really don't know why anyone would choose to stay here in Bali given the price. Fortunately, it's close to Kuta Beach and the shopping areas, and the Marriott service and breakfast somewhat make up for the dated facilities.

The facilities and room were excellent. However, not related to the hotel itself, there was construction happening late at night nearby which was noisy. Aside from that, everything else was so good that I'd love to stay here again.

They upgraded my room for me. The view was great, and all the staff were kind. The hotel also had direct access to the mall, so the location was very convenient.

We stayed at this hotel a year ago, and the breakfast service has really gone downhill. There seem to be a lot of waitresses taking orders, but they're either chatting amongst themselves or have wandered off, so there's no one to take your order and you're left standing around waiting. The pool is wonderful, clean, and watching the sunsets from there is a real pleasure. There are always plenty of sun loungers available. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and the air conditioning works perfectly and can be adjusted as needed. I consider a big drawback to be the ceramic tiles in the hallways and the horribly loud slamming of doors. You hear everything and it wakes you up – sometimes it's a trolley being pushed, sometimes a door slamming, or someone talking incredibly loudly. So, staying at this hotel is a bit like a rollercoaster; you're either irritated by the noise in the morning or enjoying a pleasant evening. The nearby shopping mall and the ocean right opposite are very convenient. There's a fairly noisy road alongside the hotel, and the shopping mall is currently undergoing renovations day and night, so the quality of your stay really depends on your room's location. Also, it's worth noting that the hotel isn't new and there are areas where improvements could be made.

The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from Kuta Beach, which is lined with surf schools. It's highly recommended for anyone looking to try surfing. The hotel service was exceptional; since we were two adults and two children, they kindly upgraded us to a suite and converted the sofa into a bed. While we waited for them to set up the sofa bed, they even offered us complimentary drinks, which was a really touching gesture. Next to the hotel, there's a large shopping center with both high-end brands and local supermarkets/pharmacies, perfect for shopping. There are also plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby, offering delicious food and a lively, local atmosphere. When we arrived, we accidentally took a Grab to another Sheraton in Kuta, the Sheraton Four Points. Please be careful not to make the same mistake! The roads in and out of Kuta can get very congested, and many are one-way. Make sure to allow plenty of time if you're heading to the airport.

I was exhausted from my trip back to Bali from Java and planned to stay in Kuta for convenient airport access the next day. The first hotel I booked was incredibly noisy, to the point of being unbearable, so I decisively rebooked at the Sheraton, which was an absolute lifesaver. - **Room:** Quiet, clean, and with good air conditioning – truly the greatest comfort during travel. - **Service:** The service was excellent. Every staff member was clearly well-trained and very engaging in conversation. As a solo traveler, I truly felt well-cared for. - **Hotel Lounge:** I came to the lounge with a friend in the evening for drinks, and the hotel's signature cocktail menu was a delightful surprise! These weren't just standard drinks; they were thoughtfully crafted specials. - **Ocean View and Pool:** Both were also beautiful. - **Surroundings:** Within walking distance to a mall and several cafes, which was very convenient! Seriously, if you're staying in Kuta, just come here, no second thoughts!

The location is fantastic! You step right out to the ocean, and our room even had a sea view. It's right next to Beachwalk shopping center, which was super convenient for souvenir shopping. The staff were all really friendly and provided great service. Breakfast isn't really recommended; it's passable, but you're better off eating out.

This can't be called a resort hotel; it's more like a 3-star standard. The location is excellent though, with all sorts of shopping malls and restaurants just outside.
