The Khazni Temple, also known as the Khazni Treasure House, is carved from a rose-red rock. This 140-foot-high, 90-foot-wide, splendid building with a strong Greek flavor is said to have once been the place where pirates hid jewels, and is the birthplace of the well-known story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
