Great place to stay, out of the city, while visiting banlung area, the are has few good waterfalls and a great crater lake, there are very few tourists so you are likely to get the waterfalls to yourself. Tree trail travel lodge is a nice cheap place out of town with a real feel of home stay, the owner is great and speak good English.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner Sen and his lovely family. The lodge is located in a small village a bit outside the town of Banlung (5-10 minutes easy drive) and it is a charming and authentic place. The wooden bungalows we stayed in were simple, rustic but beautiful. The balcony is very pleasant. We stayed in a room with private bathroom and everything was clean. The breakfast was good, and it was so nice to meet and chat a bit with the neighborhood grannies! The owner can also drive you with his tuk tuk (a comfortable Cambodian style trailer) if you wish. He drives safely, he is very nice and flexible and since he speaks good English, communication is really easy! Highly recommend this place if you look for an authentic experience, worth every penny!

Une riche expérience au sein de Banlung. Soeun et sa famille vous accueil dans leur intimité - en dehors de Banlung - pour découvrir la province de Ratanakiri. Il parle très bien anglais et c’est un réel plaisir d’échanger avec lui pour une immersion complète au Cambodge 🇰🇭. Vous pourrez louer des petits chalets individuels à partir de 4$ la nuit et déguster un petit-déjeuner ou un dîner sur place pour une poignée de Riel. Soeun propose également de vous faire découvrir les environs en visitant les principaux spots du coin et même de partir en trek avec lui pour dormir dans la jungle 🌴. Je recommande fortement cet endroit pour quelques jours de repos loin des nuisances urbaines.
