Le Cep

The hotel wifi was very poor - I had to use the hotspot on my phone during the stay. The televison cable system needs repair - the cable would cease to operate every 5 - 10 minutes. The lobby amenities were fine, but the fitness room was in poor condition. Half of the equipment didn't work and the room was on the 4th floor under the attic (the ceiling of the room was chicken wire stapled to the roof trusses) and there was no A/C in the room. Overall the lobby and room was comfortable, but the wifi and cable is poor.

A little bit old-school interior design. But clean and well functioning with very good service. Nice garden for a meal/ breakfast. Very centrally located. Only disappointment was a promising car parking that we where offered, but… without telling we would be charge 26€ when leaving. Do not like these ”scams”.

Excellent location. Romantic hotel. Excellent barman. Noisy courtyard at night comproised sleep. Air conditioning unit was not functioning and the weather was warm.

Exceptional stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Secure car park and good location.

Hotel is quite lovely and in the center of Beaune. The many wine stores, restaurants and shops nearby makes walking around the hotel area fun. City feels safe.

The staff was gracious and accommodating. The hotel had great amenities. Our room decor was quite eclectic!

Decor has seen better days - I believe faded grandeur is the term. We were apparently given an upgraded room, which begs the question what from. Hotel is dark and dingy inside. However plus points are its centrality, reserved spaces outside for drop-offs and pick-ups, valet parking (extra, and needs to be pre-booked) and excellent breakfasts (EUR25/person).

Never Disappoints – A Gem in the Heart of Beaune We’ve stayed at the Cep many times and it never lets us down. The welcome is always so friendly, the location couldn’t be better right in the heart of Beaune, and having secure parking is a real bonus. The rooms are always comfortable, which makes it feel like coming back to a favourite place.
