The Pierside Santa Monica

The service and the room's ambiance were both excellent! I also really enjoyed being able to listen to records in the room.

The hotel is quite close to the beach, just a short walk away. The sunset over the Pacific Ocean is absolutely beautiful, and you can catch some street performances. There's a real mix of people, like a big international gathering. We rode the Ferris wheel to watch the sunset, but unfortunately, it was a private event.

The parking service was good. However, the room was too noisy; you could hear all the street sounds, and it wasn't soundproofed at all!

The location is excellent, it's a beautiful, modern, and new hotel. However, upon check-in, there was no water in the room, even though bottled water was mentioned in the room description. You have to go to the water cooler on the third floor to get some. At breakfast, I came in from the room side, and all the tables were free; I was the only one there. A waitress approached me and told me to get in line. There was a group of 12 people who came for brunch and weren't staying at the hotel; they were preparing a table for them. I waited about 7 minutes for them to be seated before I could be seated. They didn't even give me a menu; I waited another 8 minutes and then just grabbed one myself. When I ordered avocado toast, I asked three times to add an egg, but it came without it, and they had to remake it. The hotel is wonderful, but the restaurant is not.
