Toa Hotel & Spa Zanzibar

It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah. You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down. The staff we're really friendly. Big compliments to everyone. Cosy en warm resort, not that big as many resorts. They know the most people by name.

We absolutely loved the Toa hotel @ Pongwe. All the staff were incredible, from the bar staff, Restaurant team , the massage ladies in the spa& right down to Jennifer our Yoga teacher. Always smiling, always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is spotless and has two huge pools and a lengths Pool. The food is incredible and we had barbecued lobster, giant prawns and steak on the barbecue and endless salads and other options in the buffet. The all-inclusive rate makes other local hotels seem very expensive. Although we didn’t take advantage of any of the tours., other guests were very positive and recommended them. We loved everything about the Toa hotel- thank you team.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall service was excellent. A special thank you to Hemed, the Executive Housekeeper & Rooms Manager, for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. He made sure everything was well organized and that guests felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout their stay. The housekeeping team was also very efficient and friendly. It was clear that a lot of care and effort goes into maintaining the hotel to a high standard. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great hospitality, comfortable rooms, and excellent service. Thank you to Hemed and the entire team for making my stay enjoyable!

TOA is a very special place. Everything about my stay here, the beautiful rooms, amazing staff, amenities, and delicious food, were top notch! I love the beach and how the hotel utilizes it for dinners on some nights. I would most certainly stay again.

Beautiful place at a nice, quiet place at the beach. The rooms are lovely and large. The good was good and the dinner at the beach was very nice! All the staff is so friendly! We requested to stay in our (3) bedrooms untill pick up at 15.00 and it was okay! Manu thanks to Hemed, Ester, Zamzamu, Cecilia Rushema and Thea. You made our stay in Toa very special!!
