- Security; no need to scan key card to use the elevator, ANYONE can walk in and press any floor they want to
- Housekeeping; for a so-called 5 star hotel, i give you 2 stars. Upon entering the suite, the Balcony had dead insects and dried up leaves from the plotted plant not swept away; I requested for prayer mats and the housekeeper came with floor mats, and when i said i requested for prayer mats, she said i had written down floor; when my request was done verbally through the phone with the operator!
- Toilet door lock has a design flaw which makes it difficult to lock and unlock; the hook doesn’t sit into the door frame correctly
- No shower niche or shelves to place toiletries in the shower; one has to put it on the floor or open the glass door to reach for the toiletries on the vanity
- Breakfast buffet; food was okay, but not enough local fare. Your national drink is Teh Tarik but it was not available. Another guest requested for it but was told they will be charged separately for it.
Do not name yourself after a luxury brand if your standard is mediocre . It is very misleading to people and disappointing that a hotel less than a year old and brands itself as 5-star has to iron out so many issues.
The only positive I could say about this hotel is they have both indoor and outdoor playground fo kids. Even so, the outdoor playground was littered with trash. It's absolutely dismal.
Upon check-in, we found that the room had not been properly cleaned. The floor was dirty, there was leftover food in the sink, the fridge had visible stains, and the minibar had not been replenished. This was unacceptable and far below the standard we expected.
What made the experience even worse was the poor service. We complained twice and waited for over an hour, but no one came to address the issues. It was also extremely difficult to contact the hotel, as calls to the front desk repeatedly went unanswered.
A clean room and responsive service are basic expectations for any hotel. Unfortunately, both were lacking during our stay. The lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service left us very frustrated and disappointed.
After waiting for 1.5 hours, I called customer service again. They informed us that we would be moved to another room, but the same problems remained. The bed sheets had stains, and the minibar was still not replenished. There were even leftover drinks from a previous guest, which clearly had not been checked by housekeeping. This showed a serious lack of attention to cleanliness and quality control.
I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both housekeeping standards and guest support.
