Hamilton Hotel Itaewon

Was as expected (its definitely not a calm place, it’s Itaewon’s loudest area - clubs/music on the street til 0600), breakfast was also ok

The hotel is located just few meters from Itaewon station of the line 6 subway. Everything is good except for my 1st room happened to be on the wrong side of the building which was near to the noisy pubs/night clubs that was sooooo loud from night till morning that I coud barely fall to sleep. I requested for a change at around 0530am and the staff understandably and kindly change me to the new room it which was on the opposite end and even upgraded it. The new room was just perfect for the 2nd night of my stay. Thank you to hotel's management.

Amazing location. As a heavy sleeper, I didn't mind the noise at all, though some might find it unbearable. Ear plugs were provided nonetheless. Cleanliness could be improved - leftover water in the steam iron, one strand of short hair on the pillow. Toilet, however, was decently clean. For a 3-star hotel, there's really not much to complain overall.

The room was very small and definitely was noisy. Wish they had more signage’s as the hotel entrance was tucked away. While no one was rude, some staff were not friendly. Not sure if I’d choose this hotel.

Overall is really good, room is clean, spacious, well equipped. Surroundings have many eateries and cosmetic to buy. BUT… here is the big BUT. It is located directly above the club and pub area. They provided two ear plugs when I first walked in to the room. I wondered why until night comes. I get free disco and club music, stomping and playing all night long till 6am. I stayed from Tuesday to Saturday, each night gets louder as weekend approaches. If not for the night music, it would have been perfect. Perhaps this hotel is for party goers..

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is lively. Lots of great places to eat, drink and explore. If you book do not stay on the 4th floor. There is a nightclub directly under it and we had to exchange rooms at 2am on our second night. It was literally like being in the club. Moved to the 8th floor and could sleep if just for a few hours because checkout is at 11am.

Great stay at Hamilton Hotel Itaewon! The location is perfect, right next to Itaewon Station and surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and nightlife. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again
