Resorts World Genting - First World Hotel

I hardly know where to start... This is the largest howling the world, check-in is 100% automated, the rooms quality and view vary a lot at the ferry same price, and in order to rectify any problem the queue to the reception staff may well reach 250+ people, with waiting time UP TO SEVEN HOURS! What is great there though, Are tha views from those rooms that have it (most of them don't) and vrwelcoming and professional reception and housekeeping staff. My problems were attendee very efficiently once I got hold of supervisors. What truly shocked me us total absence of in-room internet, wired or wireless, free or chargeable. Come on, it's 2026th!!!

Was not advised that guests had to pay for early check in. No amenities such as disposable razor or toothbrush were provided. Front desk staff do not know how to answer simple guest queries e.g. early check in policy and were not able to inform of additional payments for early check in. Instead staff keeps advising guests to continue to come back later to check if there is a room available when there is an overhead screen which guests can see and track personally. App booking for dinner was misleading advertising price promotion meant for children instead of for adults. Paid dinner reservations were not allowed to be cancelled by the restaurant or even upgraded and guest was told to go the hotel front desk to check and front desk subsequently informed that they were not responsible for the app charge. It was my worst holiday experience ever.

Cheapest hotel in Genting highlands. Nearby many food and easy accessible to Sky Avenue and Skytropolis indoor theme park.

Location excellent as usual. Housekeeping team is friendly and helpful, but amenities are poor. The shower gel is not provided (later provided after feedback to housekeeping team). Cleanliness is bad, floor is dirty with dust and hair visible. Beds and towels are surprisingly clean though. The fan is not working at 1st speed, only at 2nd which is a bit too strong. Great value nonetheless.

Checked in resort world genting. Y5 room, tower 3 cleaner than the other 2 towers. Bouncing castle near tower 3, kids had fun

If I could give 0 starts for service, I would. There is over 10 or more receptionists & an "advanced check in machine" BUT NONE OF THOSE HELPED AT ALL. Our check in took an hour plus just to settle in. Too many lobby worker, only 1 managed to helped me. The rest keep pushing to each other & finally they gave me a "priority" queue number which took 20mins of waiting time. We are "welcomed" with the smell of odour paint & thinner which is very uncomfortable because of the chemical smell. There is a faulty lift on our level which we are not informed of because the lift door is opened & upon entering, we tripped because of uneven leveling of the lift with the floor. There wasn't any sign that the lift breakdown, which we waited in there for few minutes until one worker tell us it's not working??? Very unpleasant customer service, and hotel itself. I understand it's a 3 start hotel, but I most enjoyed the cafeteria & the staffs working there! :)

its 2/5, the only good thing about this hotel is its location, and hastle free check in & check out, other than that is just basic, terrible thing is they dont have refrigator inside the room, there’s no simple mineral water or even teabag & sugar, you need to go out of the room to take hot/cold water, they didn’t even provide keetle, hahah worst thing there’s no toiletries such as toothbrush, only have body wash n shampoo hahaha, good enough for you to SLEEP only

Bringing elderly with me and requested for tower 1 but in the end get tower 3, need to walk quite far to reach the main lobby
