Lavanda Hotel Chiang Rai

The location is quite remote, and it is significantly overpriced. Charging nearly 400 with no breakfast included and a strict non-cancellation policy—plus they charge for coffee at the front desk. Compared to other chain hotels in Thailand, the value for money is terrible. To make matters worse, they charge extra just for an extra blanket, and the interior decoration is extremely mediocre, as shown in the photos. Why did Trip.com recommend this to me? Definitely one of my few disappointing experiences in Thailand.

Simple, quiet, but good quality accommodation. Relaxing and not noisy. Good breakfast. Overall, very good.

Wonderful! A lovely, quiet, and beautiful place. Perfect for those who dream of solitude and a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent. There's a small pool which I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked the hotel so much that I came back twice during my trip. Parking is available. As a solo traveler, feeling safe is important to me, and the hotel perfectly met this need. Many thanks to the staff for creating such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere <3
