Let's start with the positives: The room was very spacious, which made for a comfortable stay and didn't feel cramped. Although the location isn't right in the heart of the old city, it's right next to Maya Shopping Center, making it very convenient for dining, renting a scooter, and getting a massage. Plus, I noticed quite a few Chinese tourists, which made communication easier. Now for the critical downsides: 1. **Almost no daily essentials:** Upon check-in, I found that no disposable toiletries (toothbrush, comb, shower cap, etc.) were provided. Not even basic slippers were available, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers on a short stay or with light luggage. 2. **Terrible hot water and water supply:** The water pressure was very low, and the water temperature was basically cold, barely even lukewarm – definitely not a hot shower. The water supply was also unstable, sometimes even cutting off completely, which severely impacted washing and showering. 3. **Location is outside the old city:** The description of "central area" is actually inaccurate. It's too far to walk to the main attractions in the old city; you'd need a taxi or scooter to get there. **In summary:** The spacious room is the only highlight, but the basic facilities (hot water, water supply, daily essentials) are severely lacking. If you can tolerate cold showers, bring all your own toiletries, and have your own transportation, you might consider it. Otherwise, I recommend looking elsewhere.

However, the surrounding facilities are okay: Maya Mall is right next to it, and there are car rental services, restaurants, and massages nearby. A lot of Chinese tourists stay here. Overall, if you are particular about hot water and toiletries, I wouldn't recommend this place. The value for money is just average.

The service and facilities at COMO Uma Chiang Mai were a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room layout was well-designed. However, there was a minor letdown during this stay—the bedding didn't feel very clean and had slight stains, so I hope they can improve their linen quality checks. The overall environment is great; if they pay closer attention to the cleanliness details, this would be a truly perfect place to stay.

Plenty of rooms available, and the breakfast spread is incredibly generous, featuring the famous Thai rice noodles – I had two bowls every morning! The location is quite convenient, very close to Maya shopping mall, Green Hill (where I learned swimming and played badminton), and also super close to Nimman Road. The price was just right too.
