The hotel has a great location right at the entrance of Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk service was exceptional and very thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and I will definitely stay here again.

Both the welcome tea station and the sachet-making activity were wonderful touches. ❤️ The hotel's location is also fantastic—step right outside and you're in the bustling downtown area, and the rooftop observation deck is amazing! Enjoying breakfast there wasn't just a treat for the taste buds, but also offered an unbeatable ambiance. If I have the chance to visit Guilin again, I'll definitely choose Gangshe Hotel.

Everything regarding the hotel was perfect. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing. If I had any idea for improvement at all, it would be a second coffee machine at breakfast. But that’s a minor detail. Regarding the tours offered within the hotel I would be a bit careful. If you enjoy a very touristy experience go for it. For us it was a bit too artificial - the “bamboo raft” which is not made from bamboo was amazing though. At the same time we got heavily pressured to buy some souvenirs on the bus and during lunch. This was very uncomfortable. The tour was not cheap so this was really not necessary.
