Hotel Sun Abashiri

It is a clean and cozy hotel although it looks old externally. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room is big and bed is comfortable. There are steak & hamburgers restaurant & Sukiya nearby. You can find FoodMaster Basic Kyohoyu Shop and drug store 1 km away, along the Abashiri River, it is enjoyable to walk along the river. Most importantly, it is peaceful and quiet at nighttime where I had good and sound sleep. Highly recommended.

Old dated but clean and check in was smooth. Lift was really slow but it works . For one night it’s ok

The service is 5 stars! I had to send a luggage to another city and Kado san helped to send me to Yamato luggage delivery in his car for the drop off even though I do not speak Japanese. This hotel is located directly opposite the bus stop where the airport bus stops and is about 3 minutes walk to train station and 5 minutes walk to bus terminal. Very convenient. The hotel may be older but its clean. There's laundry facilities if needed. There's also amenities in the hotel lobby, providing coffee, tea and some other very nice tea in powder form that many other hotels do not have.

Handy, convenient location. Good for budget traveller. Get there early for parking.

The hotel staffs are very nice. The location is close to train station and restaurants. Parking lot in front of the hotel is convenient. For families, we love laundry facility 😁

Very easy to find and park car. The location was very centric and the personel were nice. Small elevator but good enough. Good beds we stayed in a 3 beds room.

It’s a very warm and hospitable local inn, not one of those stylish chain hotel brands. But if you’re visiting a place like Abashiri, which is rich in local charm and warmth, you absolutely must stay here.
